Historically summoning has been a fan favorite by many people in many games that would allow such actions, not just the elder scrolls series. I feel really underwhelmed and disappointed with the lack of summoning strength in this game. As it stands, and to my understanding, summons in this game are used more for diversions and distractions rather than actually making an impact on the fight.
My biggest issue is, where is our minion diversity? We have next to nothing for options as to what minion(s) we want to run.
Every single one of my 20+ chars on skyrim used conjuration and I loved it. What happened to bound weapons? Raise Zombie and reanimate corpse was my bread and butter leveling when atronachs and familiars simply were to weak in comparison for their magicka cost. I really feel like giving us a "reanimate dead" sort of skill that perhaps increased the max level of monster u could revive as it leveled or even through additional passives would've made summonses way more competitive for PvE play, not to mention enjoyable.
Is there any plan to revamp or strengthen summoning at all or are we conjuration/summoning devoted players just out of luck with TESO?
