Sorcerers flying into keeps and outposts

Just freaking fix this crap. I'm tired of sorcs in Cyrodiil flying into keeps, outposts and resource towers. I'm also sick of DKs leaping onto keep and tower walls.

There should not be one class that can bypass keeps like this, nor another class that can fly thru the air for 50-100 meters.

I'm wondering how they do it. I know they are cheating.

I have used Bolt Escape, etc... and when I cast bolt off a cliff, I fall down after casting it, I do not float in the air, and get to recast Bolt two or three more times until I land inside a keep.

Report them as they are exploiting, i know how they are doing it but if i post it they will just delete my post.

Not that reporting ever gets anyone looked into or banned in my experience.

the fact that ZoS isnt all over this exploit is really disheartening to the pvp community as it is also used to string 4 to 5 attacks to kill people instantly.

I've reported players for exploiting in-game, and yeah, they never get in trouble fr it, or else they would not keep doing it.

Wait a minute.. can we get some video/screenshots of this. I've never seen sorcs flying into keeps. DKs glitching through walls, I have seen.

Yep went to Sej tonight and about 7 sorcs on siege inside with no breach, shooting the door from the inside yea they need to fix this stuff, exploiters are gona exploit I suppose.

The bolded stuff I have seen and I thought Zeni said were intended to be OK. Sorcs "flying into keeps" I have not seen. Not saying I don't believe it has happened-- just never seen it. :-P

So dks and nightblades are allowed to glitch through doors and over walls for months, but a couple of sorcs make good use of terrain and its the nerf bat? What is this bull ***.

From what I've seen in the last couple weeks, DKs can still glitch through keep walls. Not talking about dragon leaping (though they can still do that too)--the DK I saw just popped right through the wall at an outpost.

It's is not a good use of terrain, its a lag switch that you can do with a feature of the game that should never have happened. Atleast we have news for a fix.

edit. Was going to post a video of it but not sure if I can. Basically they bolt in a straight line without falling.

That is much appreciated. One other thing. Has anything been done against the people using an obvious and clear exploit by pressing that button for months now? Also, do you know if the lag induced by that button is affecting other players with lag in cyrodiil?

It would be widely amusing if that was the whole thing. Like the lag switch that certain cherry colored guilds of the chaos themed name being nothing but a whole raid of "memories" being recorded at once.

Please let this be true. I have not tried the lagbutton, as it sounds like something ZOS could log and punish (also, I don't like cheating). But if it really is the culprit behind many of the shenanigans we see in Cyro, perhaps addressing it could be a real silver-bullet of a patch.

EDIT: We're all hinting around the precise identity of the button-in-question. Do we know for sure that ZOS understands what we're talking about? They're not always on the same scree... er, page as the player base.

LOL. They don't care if you report because they don't think ZoS cares enough to do anything.

Retribution? You mean punishment. It's their actions and they should be getting permanent bans as punishment for exploits. Instead ZOS enforcement has been so lax since launch on exploiting that the guy is very sadly probably right to not be concerned . It's atrocious.

imho, leaping onto keeps using dragon leap and ambush makes for a more diverse game. I loved the days of DK chaining until people exploited and ruined it for the rest of us. Sorc streak was broken as you could do it to any keep at any time whereas leap/ambush need a target. I do have a problem with leaping/ambushing to NPCs though and jumping into inners. Lets face it, if someone gets through the outer by jumping onto someone on the wall, he is either 1. gonna die, 2. reunite with this team after they bust outer down. I say, let the leaping continue but NPCs cant be targeted by these leaps, only players.

Is this like when you said DKs aren't going to be able to leap into keeps? We have heard that one before. Any effort at all being put into the NBs getting into keeps?
