Diety System

We should have a system that lets you worship one diety, be it Daedric or Aedric, then gain a skill line based on the diety you choose to worship like passives actives and ultimate maybe like you find a Daedric shrine, all of the daedric gods and goddesses have an alter there, you pray at one of the alters and gain a skill line in the world section.

That's a neat idea. Maybe if they ever give us the option to play as Daedric race.... that would be really interesting.

I've posted on this, too. It would add anything from a simple, variable mild bonus to complex gameplay changes. Any change in this direction would be good times.

I would love to see skill lines based on Daedric or Aedric worship. I wouldn't want to see daedra as a playble race, they are not a race of Tamriel but hail from another plane of existence. It would be very lore breaking , and I know there are already lore breaking instances in the game but those are explained. Daedra as a playable is just too much.

I do wonder if Aedra/Daedra worship is enough... What about the Tribunal? Hist reverence? Khajiit beliefs? Sithis worship? Redguard dieties?

Of course most of those dieties have aedra/daedra equivalent, but does ESO want to force that association? Perhaps there be 11 religions established and one can be aedra and one can be daedra? Both with morphs for the specific diety.

To be honest I have so many conflicting thoughts about this core concept I can't make up my mind on which method would be best.

Recently I've been thinking we need to have all these temples for all gods and you go and pay homage to the god and you gain a temporary skill.... to where you have to worship regularly to retain the skill....

With 9 Aedra and 16 Deadra, It's a neat but unviable idea.

It's a cool idea, but what abilities would there be? Might be interesting to have a stam based healing tree, but there are a ton of aedra and daedra. It'd be difficult to think up so many new trees, let alone balance them all.
