This might be a stupid questio, but I! Gonna ask it anyways cause I'm new to the game. If I wanted to could a create a straight up heavy melee class that's not a dragonknight. Like only use skills from the weapons I'm using and what ever guilds I'm in. Sobi would be primarily using stamina rather than magika.

While I am using class skills in this build, its not impossible to do without, aka full stamina. You may want to use your class self heal though, if nothing else.

Things I recommend looking into getting are; circle of protection*, evil hunter, calthrops, vigor (if you want to PvP that much..), having a 2h on at least one bar and using rally.

If you want to make a pure weapon based / stamina based character, go with a nightblade. They get the most passive boosts from class skills for a stamina build (30% more stamina regen, bonus armor and spell resist when leaving stealth, bonus critical chance, bonus critical damage). A lot of their abilities also 'look' like weapon attacks, so you can fill in the gaps from your weapon/guild trees without feeling like you're using any 'spells'. Their ability animations work best with dual wield, however.
