Account not found?

Ok having a problem inviting a friend to guild. For some reason it keeps telling me and everyone else who tries to invite this person their account cannot be found. Its typed in correcrly and can group with and see them on friends and group list. Have been playing with this same person on other games for quite some time now with no issues. Anyone else had this problem and know what could be the cause?

I am also having this problem you are not alone are there any work arounds mister admins.

Going to bump this as after three different posts can't seem to get a response. This is opposite of the friends list known issue. Zos do you know what could be causing this? His account is linked as well. Can't understand why the game doesn't recognize his gamertag when he is showing on line on my friends list in game.

I am going to take a wild guess and ask if their GT has some non-standard characters in the name (non letters and numbers).

Nope not at all. All letters so it's not anything unusual in the spelling. It's driving us crazy.....he even talked to xbox about it and they can't figure it out either. They said it was in game issue, but can't seem to get admin to resond

I'm having the same issue. I'm trying to join someones guild right now but I can't because apparently my gamertag can't be found...
