AOE and DOT damage
Hi everyone, 
Take for example, the final Crypt of Hearts boss Nerien'eth, who dished out two types of AOEs. One AOE has chains attached and spreads around the room. The other centers on himself after he teleports to a player.
Both are of course AOEs, but both are also DOTs right (i.e. the longer you stay in area of effect, the more damage you take)? My reason for asking is this: will Champion Points invested in the Thick Skinned passive in the Lady Tree help to reduce the Nerien'eth AOEs? I think plenty of boss AOEs are also DOTs and I hope this Thick Skinned passive is useful.
