Daedric Minions - SORC

What gives the sorc. minions their attack power? Is it based on level (character base level, or even stage I, II, III etc) or on my own spell power?

deadric summons and other minions scale with the characters maximum Magicka - and nothing else

Crap ... I was trying to be a stam build dual weild with medium armor... And if its based on magika then they are never going to get stronger... >_<

you can still use your pets for utility though but not as strong as say a magicka based sorc with pets. Dont know if you play WoW but if you can remember, Marksmanship hunter do not need the pets to do damage, they do damage and the pets kinda help with either CC or escape.

Its not optimal but in levelling terms, its viable. there are skill lines that increases pet damage so its worth looking it up.

Yes thank you. I have two sorcs already (one 46 and one 37) (I just use one of them for vamp bites now) I just wanted to try something new... Maybe when I get a higher level my daedric summoning will just be for the armour or something... And yes I used to play WoW but recently quit as it was super boring. Thanks for the additional help
