Craglorn Quests Question

I have a couple of mates I get to play with regularly and we have been looking for more team content (love dungeons, but we have done them a lot). We were thinking about starting the quest line in Craglorn, but are only v4-v7. We have a tank, DPS and heals. So two questions:

1. Are the Craglorn quests doable with a 3 man team or do we need 4?
2. What level range is viable for running them without too much suffering?

In terms of difficulty a lot of them could be done solo depending on rank ,build,CP. They are some quests that do require 2 to 4 people in the group in order to unlock stuff though. Only 2 or 3 quest actually require 4 members though.So yea you can certainly go ahead and try to do it at more or less any vet rank.

First, there are a few quests that require 4 to advance a quest. There is no way around this. If your play is solid, you should be able to tackle Lower Craglorn quests. Most are pretty easy for 4-man teams. Can your team take out the surface mobs? If so, then it's worth taking a shot at the quests. What have you got to lose other than some soul gems and repair bills?

From the main Lower Craglorn questline, there are two quests that require four people at one specific step:

The Corrupted Stone - to open the door in the Ruins of Kardala
The Missing Guardian - to open the portal by the lake

Everything else can be done with fewer people. V4-7 is doable for sure. You can always try to see if you can find a fourth person in zone anyway, and go with the three of you if you don't, up to that point in the quest.

From the daily quests, I think only the Critical Mass quest (at Spellscar) requires four people (3 to grab the essences and one to open the portal)

I hope that helps. The questline is a lot of fun IMO.

Thanks for the info. We jumped in and have been doing fine (a little tough at spots) and having fun. We couldn't solve the resurrection shrine challenge until we picked up a 4th. I think we can solve those with a couple more levels.
