Unarmed Combat from levels 1 to 7

So I decide the other night that regardless of if the game has an unarmed skill line or not, I wanted to play an unarmed character, so I created an Argonian Heavy Armor Dragon Knight, and its going amazing well so far. My current setup is full level 6 crafted heavy armor with the following skills slotted:
  1. Searing Strike
  2. Stonefist
  3. Dark Talons
  4. Molten Weapons
  5. Spiked Armor
Utlimate: Dragon Leap

My build plan is to have the following:
  1. Searing Strike - Buring Embers
  2. Fiery Breath - Burning Breath
  3. Dark Talons - Burning Talons
  4. Inhale - Deep Breath
  5. Spiked Armor - Hardened Armor
Utlimate: Dragon Leap - Take Flight

The biggest thing I've noticed so far is that without a weapon, I seem to be 100% better at countering and interrupting attacks and I think its because the charge time for unarmed is in line with other weapon skill lines, but seems to break faster when you opt to stop your power attack. No numbers to back this up, just what I've been noticing so far. I'm interested in seeing how I handle 3 at a time, so far its been mostly 1 on 1 or 2 on 1, so I guess I'll find out when I get closer to the end of the 2nd zone.

It increases damage since fist appear to do physical damage. It also seems like the heavy attack execute bonus of Molten Armaments also applies.

I also run an unarmed character.

I wonder how an unarmed NB would be. I might have to try that later.

This thread is very misleading. Unarmed combat would be just punching, not using damage abilities from class lines. The bulk of your damage will be your class abilities. At level 7 you can do whatever you want and coast through the content. The pve side of leveling up is ridiculously simple and almost anything seems to work. However in the later levels you will fall extremely short. Even the abilities you have on your bar will likely scale off weapon damage/stam or magicka, depending on the morph you take. At the end of the day you will be deliberately gimping your character and still not be a real brawler or monk or whatever it is you are trying to emulate. You are still a dragon knight using dragon knight skills only nowhere near as effective as other DKs.

It's a shame this game did not include unarmed fighting skills and synergies.

I got killed in pvp, nerf everything...
