Looking for a good PVE build for a dual weapon nightblade

Got to lvl 16 so far with my Kjahit NB and really feel like I need to respec since I haven't got a build going and so many of the builds guides seem to old to be useful Dual weapons (open to other weapons for the weapon swap except bows) and I'm going for a stamina based solo pve medium armor build. Only wanna to lvl 50, not into end game material. Tbh, I've become so used to using pre set builds that if I wait much longer it's just going to be more expensive to respec later on. I'm mostly going for solo suitable dps with some some stealth (not much, as I'm not a stealthy sort of player). Okay, so this is my long winded way of asking what kind of build I should be going for, attribute points, specs, how much of my armour should be stamina and how much health/and or magicka? Can I pull off full medium armour of do I need a combo? I'm not new to MMOS but this spec design is really different from the other games I've played.

You are lvl 16 and you do not want to go over lvl50
You do not need any freaking BUILD.The lvl 1-50 content has been nerfed so much that nothing really maters anymore in terms of gearing at that level.
Use skills as they get unlocked and experiment with everything. At that point respecing a lot is not a problem either. Actually I would recommend doing every time you max out a couple of your skill morphs to try the others.

Well heres the thing, while what ^ he said is true, you would still need a direction, a theme perhaps going about your build. You would still need a good build to be able to fight well in dungeons and in dolmens. A good single target and aoe bar would benefit you more than just 'use any skill' build.

Since you are a khajit, use their racials to your advantage. Go melee first, with either dw or 2handers. Depending on your preference, both are useful for levelling since NBs have really good synergy for stamina builds. Personally however, I orefer using 2h for aoe and bow for single target. Use the two bars to your advantage.

I usually open the fight with Mark, heavy bow attack from stealth, focused aim, cripple and finish off with poison arrow. For 2h, I use Rally, Brawler, wrecking blow, double take, spam killer's blade.

One of the reasons why I go bow and melee is that in dungeons, its better to be ranged than melee. Some of the fights are really anti melee so its nice to be able to have options. Of cos, NBs however have the ability to be very mobile and its not really a pain to be a pure melee class.

Hopefully ive helped abit and check out my http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/166838/themed-builds#latest and see if some of the NB builds fit your playstyle.

Just "play your own way". You sound super casual anyhow so just enjoy yourself and experiment. PB is right, lvl 1-50 content is soo easy you can really do whatever you want. Plus you literally just unlocked weapon swap and most guides will only pertain to characters at a higher level than where you are.

If you really still feel that you need a build to complete the first 5 of 16 zones then you can go here but as I said, you'll have a hard time finding one for lvl 16.

To answer your question, wear 5 medium, 1 light and 1 heavy just so you level those skill lines. Every player is different so how much HP you need you will need to gauge by how often you die. If concerned put all Attr points into HP and use stam enchants on your armor.

Thanks for the advice, I just got so used to using builds that I wasn't sure how much it was needed (btw, I meant a build that was designed for up to lvl 50, just an idea of the things to work towards), but I've been doing pretty well without it, so I agree it doesn't seem that important for non end gameplay.

I wasn't sure I could manage a bow because I'm not the best at aiming with them but I tried it out and it's nowhere near as bad, so I'm going with dw/bow. I love the idea of switching between melee and range, so this works fine.

Deltia, Sypher, Tamriel Foundry ALL cater to high skill end-game Veteran 14 characters.

A level 16 is incomparable to a character with an affective level of 190. You don't have access to skills, morphs, gear, Champion Points, potions, or even food end-game characters do. It's completely meaningless to think about a 'build'.

Just focus on leveling up as many skills as you can to the point they can be morphed. Use different weapons. Use a mix of armour so you can level up all the lines.

    Experiment!

Put on mostly light armour and grab a staff for a couple of levels, abandon that for a 2H and medium armour for the next. Enter a dungeon and pick up a sword and shield and use the first skill, the taunt to tank mobs and bosses for other players if they're around. Pick up a bow, try dual wielding. Grab a resto staff and heal - morph Steadfast Ward to Healing Ward soon as you can and then you have the best emergency heal in the game. Read tooltips, pay attention to synergies, learn how skills interact and complement each other. Work out combinations.

By the time you reach level 50, you will have class skills, weapon lines and armours at level 40+ and all the skills leveled. You can then re-spec and focus on one or two weapons and their morphs.

End -game doesn't begin at v1, don't worry. Level 50-190 (v1 to v14) is still a very long process of more of the same as 1-50. So you can continue refining your game play and slowly narrowing down your character to fit into a build and role as you approach v14.

If you still don't want to do end-game, you can then repeat the process with a different class.
