Impenetrable + Resistant reducing crit heals

I just tested how impenetrable and the Resistant passive from the Champion System work and found that both of them reduce the critical healing taken by the player.

Impenetrable:
Wearing one pc light armor:
  • Normal heal: 2380
  • Critical heal: 3617

Wearing one pc light armor with 120 impenetrable rating:
  • Normal Heal 2380
  • Critical Heal: 3593

Resistan Champion Passive:
  • Normal heal: 7248
  • Critical heal 0 CP Resistant: 11329
  • Critical heal 1 CP Resistant: 11255

Is this working as intended?

Even if it only applies to the players themselves, I think it should not work like this – on the one hand I spend champion points in Elfborn to increase critical healing and damage and then Resistance decreases my own critical heals again.

I've also heard that buffs that apply a Dodge chance have been making character Dodge incoming heals.

Actually guildmates just tested the dodging issue – what we found out was that only sap essence can be dodged, but other heals like Healing Springs not. So it must be a bug with certain abilities.

I find impenetrable reducing incoming crit heals far more annoying because I cannot tell whether this is a bug or not.

Well, I'd say it's working 'normally' .. But i'm not sure it was 'intended' to be like that,
I mean, it's not broken, it's doing precisely what it's meant to do....

lol, yea, but then again, crit builds are almost gone from pvp.. and people mostly place nirn instead of impenetrable for PvP so it's all gud.

Why do you say crit builds are gone from pvp now?
I thought with the changes to impenetrable crit was a valid choice in pvp again... especially as impenetrable is rather weak now.

Because nirnhoned, when stacked high enough, can negate most/all spell damage....

So, if impenetrable reduced the crit heal on myself, shouldn't spell resistance also reduce heals?
What about spell penetration? Can I counter my own heal resist with it?

    Questions over questions.

The heals from siphon spirit are dodged as well which leads me to think that heals recived from attacking are dodgeable. I want to say that the same thing applies to funnel health but it's been so long since I've used it that I'm uncertain about it.
Me: It's[WB spamming DK] a really cheesy build
Guildy: I like cheese with my wine, and WB creates some really good wine.

Regarding Sap Essence vs Healing Springs dodge mechanic:
    Multi-target heal ≠ untargeted ground/AoE heal.
