Cant pickpocket?

Hi, i like to ask, why can we only pickpocket friendly targets?

If i sneak up on a "bandit" npc, one that is hostile, then i dont get the option for pickpockets. Why?

It makes no sense what so ever.

    Because if you steal things from a bandit, who by definition steals things for a living, you'd have a stolen stolen item. This, as we all know, would create a paradox which would destroy the entire universe and part of Oklahoma. Therefore, it was decided that the best course of action was to simply disallow theft from bandits. :smile:

    Bandits don't have anything in their pockets.

    That's why they are bandits...
