We need the v12 warlock rings back! V1 just doesn't cut it anymore. anyone else agree?!

They're garbage. If you can't get magicka sustain post 1.6 without warlock you've got much bigger problems.

They can't be looted, so they are in limited stock now.
But honestly, the warlock set is almost useless now, so personally I don't really care.

They can be looted, they are at a ridiculously low drop rate from AA trash only.

Uh why is warlock useless? it has the neck slot which means you can stack it with other sets for near limitless magicka.

You have me curious too.....Warlock is annoyingly decent for sorc's to the point where I use it - and I hate dropped sets on general principles.

It's decent only because the jewelry allows for two 5 piece bonuses. It's bad because it's redonkulously expensive and you really shouldn't need it. There are much better options these days because sustain is much easier. That and it's only rank 12.

I just wish it scaled up to vr14 but I suppose that may not matter when/if they ever get rid of vet ranks.

I disagree. There are only 3 other options for indefinite sustain.

1. Seducer
2. Magnus
3. Archmage

The only sets you can stack with 1 and 2 for almost unlimited magicka are warlock and archmage and everyone knows archmage is nearly impossible to get. Thus leaving warlock.

You know why warlock is weak now for all of these ppl? Cause they run stamina now, and only thing they want now is Shadow Walker ) The leftovers of magica users are pushed to the edge. Soon all magic will die as it is in fantasy books. Warlock is awesome set bc you can have plenty of magica thanks to it and still you can wear other full set. e.g. Martial Knowledge.There isnt any good alternative for this set, bc there isnt any other eficient magica set with jewlery slots. Things could change if we could craft jewlery...

If you're healer is not running ELE drain, go start looking for another.
and with the current CP system and spell cost reduction options, spells are basically free nowadays.

Besides that, warlock set can get you freakin killed in SO..
You might wanna think twice before you spend your gold on this overpriced set.

We are not talking about costs but is it useful or not, and it is. Yes there is more options of magica sustain but all have thier pros and cons. E.g. CP. Yes you can put some points in magica cost reduction but for pvp i prefer cost reduction of break free and roll dodge over this. Simply warlock on its own can replace almost all other ways of magica managment allowing you to use other sets and skills. Im not saying its best set but its very useful and negating this is just a way to justify that you cant afford it. Yes its way to expensive these days, and thats why OP started this thread. Its way to hard to get it.

Ive never said the set wasn't useful. I said there are far better options to sustain your magicka.
And i even mentioned that it is my opinion..

ps; OP started this thread because he wants Warlock rings back, not because they are too expensive and hard to get.

Ok, so as mentioned, bringing this back on topic...

I've strugled with sustained magicka and fought with the Spell damage over regen over reduced cost.

Right now, I've gone for the Regen side and pushing 2200 regen idle and 1500 whilst in fight. It seems to work well for me so far although I'll know more come tonight after my first attempt at DSA

If you're struggling with your magicka sustain in PVE, you should really let you healer run elemental drain.
Our healer is running both elemental drain (for magicka) and repentance (for stamina) and we never run out of resources.
Especially in vDSA or trials, this is really usefull.

i recommend 1 or 2 spell cost reduction glyphs on your jewellery as well.

no healer is providing ELE drain - the best you can hope for is siphon spirit wich is thx to 99.99999999999999% of the dds are craptastic hard to apply with its nearly 2sec casting time as that is enough time for those gimps to commit suicide.

I think the purple VR14 Healers Habbit jewelry is pretty good replacement, I use the 4 set for my pvp set.
Archmage is expensive to get and it doesnt have rings and shoes so it reduces the set combinations greatly.

VR14 Warlock items would be a bit to strong I think, thats probably the reason why the VR12 rings are extremely rare.

I can't think of any healer i played with lately who isn't running ELE drain tbh..

Anyways, the vr12 Warlock rings are still out there OP. So if you want them, take some time to search for em and you will find them eventually
