@ZOS_GinaBruno, @ZOS_JessicaFolsom any word on this? It is a stamina killer and needs some form of counter, but it seems if I go behind a pillar in a keep it just keeps on *** me.

    Cloak, Invisibility potion, bash, run far away. Can try one of these counters. I think it should break if behind a object.

    BE 3times with around 25m start distance should bring you out of range but doesent :P all rupts bash/crushing shock/venom arrow do not rupt shielded targets(blazing shield anyone?:P) and thus you are allways eating its full duration/dmg as you simply cant keep pot back for the case you´ll need invis potion :(

    ZOS remove this skill please. Give Blinding Flashes back instead. You have failed to implement a new skill to the game with tons of bugs and such. But there is no shame on that. Lets all forget about it and gib Flashes back ok? : 3

    It breaks most time when Line of sight broken, i use it often and most times it work, however if small objects and sometimes even large, it does not break. I am not sure if thats a skill issue, or a collision issue with texture they have? If its collision texture bug, its gonna be really hard to fix i think.

    I would reccomend any of all other counters,
    Purge
    Dodge
    Block

    I even heard myths saying using ward make it tick for only base dmg (even if you health is low) so can also try put up ward.

    I know there are counters. In open field fights I will just streak away or shield through, however when I am fighting in a keep vs. larger numbers I will use LOS to avoid damage. For instance, earlier I was using a pillar in Faregyl to break LOS but jesus beam just kept on chugging through despite the fact the pillar was in the way.

    ZOS confirmed this was a bug and released patch notes which said this had now been fixed and that it would break on LOS. It doesn't break on LOS and needs to be fixed. Please don't post in this thread giving me counters to the skill, I don't need to know how to counter it, I need the bug to be fixed. Thanks.

    Well, prior to patchnotes RD had 1st tick bug and unbreakable LOS. Patchnotes about RD only said that LOS fixed, however LOS wasn't fixed and 1st tick bug was fixed. Someone still believe in patchnotes?!

    Why people keep saying you can dodge roll to break it?

    Only make me die faster because I can not block it while rolling ^^

    ZOS might as well actually make "Jesus Beam" the new name of the skill. Much easier than saying "Radiant Destruction".

    We all need bugs fixed.

    I've had it get broken with hills, steps, rocks and walls, but not necessarily trees and pillars. Maybe because the target can pass on one side of the object and still be seen on the other - not really blocking LOS but allowing re-establishing it. Of course, this could be a strange benefit where Templar GCD is actually benefiting us; if you're not behind the object for a full GCD or LOS can be reestablished within that time RD will still work.

    All conjecture - but it would be nice to say our GCD is good for something.

    Cloak hardly works in this game anymore. You either go through the animation of cloaking but stay visible, or you just get hit like normal as if you never pressed it.

    LOL; fix that los issue after they fix the class pls; let everyone suffer whilst the temps are put on the backburner- then maybe it will be a priority to fix the classes many issues; both bugs AND deficiencies.

    It DOES NOT break most times when LOS is broken, It nearly NEVER breaks,

    If you are a NB Shadow Cloak does Break it,

    I feel that this skill is overpowered and should be reduces to 30% health,
    Also should have an additional magicka cost if spammed like the sorcs streak,

    Toooooooo many templars just spam this skill and it does major damage, irrelevant of your hp pool or how much damage you have,

    3x Radiant Destructions leave you either dead of close to which is unfair,

    See; here is another terrible argument. LOS not breaking it is an issue and a good argument, to go along with a lot of slow projectile skills that also do it, like dark flare and sun fire will follow people. Of course no one complains about those because they are super slow making them easy to dodge and dogeable. (Do any other classes have this sort of thing?)

    The bad argument is "3x Radiant Destructions leave you either dead or close which is "unfair"." OK. So are we talking 3 at the same time over the course of 3 seconds which just about any of the big hitting skills in the game 3 at once would kill you in that time (Frags, snipe, WB)? Or are we talking about 3 consecutive for ~9 seconds of damage? In which case, yeah; lot of people can kill you in much less time than that with anything but RD. Getting hit so hard sucks but its the current meta certainly not exclusive to RD.

    I think the real issue along with LOS not breaking it is people rely on just spamming dodge roll, reflect or BoL as their main source of defense and none of these happen to work on RD. I would say "Hard counter bro. Deal with it." but it probably is too many things hard counter. It should probably be changed to only ignore one of those sort of things, but whichever ones it doesn't better have legit hard counters of its own. I use dodge roll a lot but IMO it probably could use keeping a ranged counter even though I selfishly would love to be able to roll out of it myself.

    Los of this skill should get fixed (same if it goes to Soul Assault - i cant count times when i loled when used SA on someone that was entering a keep and got killed through doors) but for sure it should not break on dodge roll... If u are stamina user shield charge, the guy or use other rush skill and stun him! Stun works through damage shield (dunno if bash works but hard ccs are working for sure), and keep on presing. He will have choice, try to channel it again and probably die or heal and take better position. As a magica user, use damage shields + heavy staff attack - its resoursce fight and when he channels skill he cannot use heavy attacks to regenerate his magica. As a nb just use cloak, stop whining it is buged, i have nb to and its true that sometimes it fails to work but most of the time it works fine. Ive never played templar but i rly like that this class has finaly something to say in pvp except of beeing a healer. I dont see any problems with that skill, its powerful but not op.
