Additional Cyrodiil ranking system (detailed suggestion&poll)

Death shouldn't factor into ranking, especially for players below V14. There's already enough players below this rank questioning what they can do to help their alliance, getting frustrated taking on V14s and believing they aren't helping out (they are), to kick them in the b@11s with a death penalty would probably send them off the field.

What exactly is battle for these deaths? Mirroring real combat there's a lot of downtime between skirmishes and outright brawls for areas. You could be scouting get run over by 6 enemy, but that wasn't really a battle, you were just feeling out the strength of the enemy. Then later across the map, there they are and battle ensues over a keep. How exactly would that score work? Would the previous death in another part of the map work against you for a particular fight?

What if you are rezzed? Does that count as death against your score. It was an opportunity for your side to gain XP/AP.

And I have to agree that you are missing several key roles to a successful campaign, their contribution really can't be measured - scouts, repair, rezzers all contribute to winning. You get XP/AP for repair, so it's important enough to reward, but your stats would seem to ignore this huge effort. And it is a huge effort, probably upwards of 50k gold per participant/week.

Thats why there is Cyrodil ranks, sure they need to improve them, maybe in Imperial City?

How about old good taunting? You can only taunt people below your rank, so those at the top can taunt to everyone. That shouldnt take alot of resources either.

This wasn't even worth a shot. Looking at posts here complaining about something like taunting? Why you think there is an X variable in there?? It's to give low levels more score and make it as equal and fair as possible.

People whine about me not accounting for quests, AP, repairs and the war. well, the old leaderboard system IS STILL THERE, it says so in the thread. READ the thread before commenting.

"Deaths shouldn't count" what the .....?? Without it it is impossible to measure individual skill. You don't have to join the server or take a part in these rankins. So why is this a problem for you again?? Stop degrading my forum thread and go back to roleplaying. This thread clearly does not concern you. Do you see me whining in fishing threads? No.

Might be 1% atm, yes. I gotta spend hours to find a group for DSA. They mustave all left the game. Strange isn't it? Do you not understand that no endgame content and no competetive content will hurt casual players aswell? ZOS will lose income. Without income, you won't get new areas to roleplay, fish, casual quest, or explore. If ESO took advantage of its potential, attract both hardcore players and casuals, the game would earn more money, and release more content.

I wasnt complaining. It was suggestion, lets say Volunteer ranked player kills Major, the Major could send taunt to the Volunteer, almost like shouts in Skyrim like "Fus Do Rah" (Not sure if shouts exist now in ES...) Sure it isnt the perfect reward for those who grind PVP ranks but its something.
