Something needs to be done about Talons

I don't know what there should be done with it, but it shouldn't be that way that a player can get snared over and over and over again by Talons.

its doesn't do that much damage and your still in control fully of your character. Its not that good of a move i'm more scared of NB spam fear.

-_- How many nerf DK skill threads are you going to make??? We already have the worst class skills because they have all been nerfed into Oblivion compared to every other classes base skills and you want them to be worse? GTFO.

I disagree that they have been nerfed the most .... HOWEVER I agree that people need to stop shouting for nerfs and learn how to play.

I'm assuming that by making the above comment you aren't indicating that you intentionally created a topic in order to get a reaction purely for entertainment while you drink your tea. Because there is a word for that. Sadly just saying this word can get me banned, so I can't say it.

On my end, the range of talons has always been at about 1 step infront of me instead of 6 meters. Same with Reflective Scales which last not even a second instead of 4. When I asked the support months ago about this issue, they didn't know why it's acting like this either.
I hate playing my DK.

No, not trolling. Just making fun of the guy that thought I was.

The only problem with Talons is the bug it causes in PvP resulting in stun locking a target preventing a break. It occurs probably 1 in 10 times, and may have nothing to do with Talons but rather other mechanics related to rooting a stunned target or stunning a rooted target.

Otherwise Talons is pretty weak sauce. Compare it with Bombard, with a way higher 20m base range, lower resource cost, higher base damage, and snare after effect, and you'll just laugh at how stupid under powered Talons is. I blame 80% of the Talons related crying on L2P issues, 10% on it bugging out and stun locking people, and the remaining 10% on Invasion which like other targeted gap closers roots the target during the move portion of the skill before the attack hits (a lazy method to reconcile conflicting move commands in the game engine) then stuns the target on hit, resulting in very unresponsive control issues allowing the follow up of Talons to be very difficult to defend against (unless you're a Sorc and Bolt spam away).

back in 1.5 I would have agreed with you, but now people can roll dodge a crap load of times and/or purge non-stop due to the resource pools in the game now a days.

this is the 3rd nerf thread you have made today friend. I will not insult you, but you really should consider learning how to fight the abilities you hate before asking for a nerf.

Ball of lighting= use gap closers, bows, or just dont chase the sorc

talons= roll dodge/purge. either can be done a lot with the right build(s)

Scales= melee attacks, count to four, kite the DK.

There is no question in my mind now @BugCollector ... This is second thread of yours discussing a nerf to DK's this morning. To complete this collection, you still need a thread about Dragon Leap, lava whip, ash cloud, that firey breath one, the self heal whose name escapes me, and....well...you still have a long way to go. But keep up the good work, mate. Now I know where you are coming from, it is rather amusing.
