Tooltips and "New Effect" text not matching
This is an issue I've noticed on a number of Dragon Knight abilities, at least. For example, Empowering Chains says in the tooltip that it grants Empower, increasing the damage of your next attack by 20%. The new effect text, however, says that Empowering Chains increases the damage of your next weapon attack by 20%. These are two very different things.
Fossilize, a morph of petrify, says in the tooltip: "Encase an enemy in stone to stun them for 20 seconds. When the effect ends, enemies take 8 Magic Damage and remain rooted for 2.5 seconds. Affected enemies can take [x] damage before the stun is broken." The new effect text says, "Roots the enemy after the disorient ends." So is it a stun or a disorient?!
Sea of Flames, a morph of Inferno, has the same issue. The tooltip says that when a fireball kills and enemy, magicka is gained. The new effect is: "gain magicka when you kill enemies." So does the ability have to land the killing blow, or doesn't it?
The tooltip and the new effect need to agree and be accurate or we can't make informed decisions.
