So you really have 3 effects. I don't know his to do it, since I didn't had any time to play at all last month. But a guild mate got it on an alt while leveling. He just changed the mundus and the old one didn't disappear. Then to check it he got a second one on that low level alt. He even has 4 mundus on that char now if I recall correctly. We have no idea about to trigger it unfortunately. So can't give a detailed bug report.

It should be fixed asap anyhow. So please Zenimax, get your hands on it and even hotfix this. Its game breaking.

There is a possibility most these players got that accidentally. But can't revert it since it just stacks. There might be a way to trigger it. But not everybody got that "exploit" on purpose.

This, so much this. One of my lowbies has four standing stones, or at least did the last time I was on her. I can't get rid of them and they are all showing as active on my character screen. It was not in the least intentional, well the third one was to test if they would keep stacking and then the fourth I forgot she was all buggy and tried to change her stone. It is the plague.

    Cheater

Just kidding. Let's hope they gonna fix this as soon as possible.

So... how do YOU know who has 3 mundus stones? Do you have hidden cameras installed next to their PCs?
Addons can show it, but like I said we don't know if its an actual exploit or a UI error, how ever the video showed active effects and the addon showing mundus stones, which leads me to believe its an exploit, and I've heard of certain players abusing it and someone said they have it but dont know how they got it

Which add-ons can show you another player's mundus stone buffs?
    "S'rendarr"
Doesn't that one only show your buffs and the buffs you put on other players? I don't use it, but I didn't think it showed buffs that other players put on themselves.

It also shows other players "long buffs" when you hover your reticle over them. Such as mundus, PvP buffs, food buffs, vamp/ww

This should be removed from the game

Nope. It's rather nice to have a way to know quickly who not to waste silver bolts on, and who you can terrorize with them. It would really make me waste stamina if I had to get in close enough to see their eyes or wait for them to go mist form or something. It's a great feature.

I want players to see my buffs about as much as I want my opponents to see my cards when I'm playing poker.

LOL. People do report those that exploit, nothing happens. Look at what exploiting has done to PVP in this game. Pathetic really.

    This game had such potential.

Why can't companies every publicly disclose disciplinary actions taken against players? I've never understood this. They should be publicly shamed for what they have done. Transparency is often the best course of action in the long run.

Its not that easy to differ between ppl got it on accident or did it on purpose. So you always could shame an Innocent. Which is wrong. Imagine you change mundus and all the sudden have 2. And then you can't get rid of it. Would you be okay if ppl call you exploiter, bugabuser etc.?

That's the issue about name and shame. In some cases like obviously hackers I would approve. But due to bugs like this, not really. Zos is actively trying to find the cause and providing a fix for it, right as I write this. I already gave some Informations to Gina. All we can do now is providing info if we have to get that thing out of the game as quick as possible.

Did the account using the bug report it and give a detailed response as to how it happened? Yes, then they did the right thing. No? Then they are abusing a bug, should be banned, and publicly shamed. Simple.

He didn't get the second Mundus Stone effect "accidently" as some people have suggested has occurred. Way back when I created him (around release), there was a passive trait IIRC available that gave a second Mundus Stone effect... I don't recall if it was a class trait or racial trait. Hey, I'm old; my memory rarely stretches back a day or two...

There never ever was such thing. Not from class and neither from racial. Also no set bonus. Twice born star is the only thing in game that makes it possible to get more than 1 mundus buff. There has never been something else to get more than one legitimately.

    Afraid you're wrong.

    Live with it. It happens.

    Enlighten me(us) then ;)

I can't recall anything doing that. Besides twice born when it got introduced.

There have been bugs making it able to get more than one earlier too. But that's it. I am 100% sure. Played all classes etc since beta.

I have no obligation to you whatsoever to provide any other explanation than I already have. I don't care what sort of special little snowflake you believe yourself to be.

I got that effect LEGALLY way back when; it was offered as a choice as a result of something and I don't recall what. With eight characters that I alternate in play, I'm not going to remember everything that occurs to each one; and since I'm not a min-max'er, I'm not going to try to duplicate activities/traits/gear/experiences on each one. What would be the point of having alts if I played them all the same?

The fact that you haven't had the same experiences doesn't make it any less true.

    So, be careful. Snowflakes melt.

There is and never have been. I am just telling you. Why do u get so salty when you don't have a clue ? Such effect was never legitimately in this game. Besides the twice born star set bonus. No skill line or passives ever had an effect to let you have more than 1 mundus. Only 5 piece bonus twice born star. You got something wrong my friend. ;)

I'd love to help as one of my lowbies has two mundas, but i've got no idea how I got them.

I've wondered if more stack, but haven't tried as I didn't want to exploit something that is broken, but happy to be a guinea pig if required as this needs to be fixed.

Edit: It's a very low level toon, no twice born or anything like that. Not much in the way of CP either, buggered if I know how it happened, but it has. Happy to put my hand up and say one of my toons is effected.

Theres a big difference between exploiting something for personal gain and bug testing a possible exploit for a report.

Bumping this thread to remind ZoS what a problem it is. I'm currently a part of NA AD's top vDSA team and while we have room for improvement. Looking at the scores ahead of us it's blatent that multiple parties have been exploiting this bug. I can provide as much as a 1-2k dps boost which is massive for times. I'm personally advocating a leaderboard wipe once ZoS figures out how to fix and remove the bug.

@StevK44_ESO Sorry to burst your bubble, I made this thread and I'm ranked #4 on DSA leaderboards, for a run that wasnt serious and tested things out, we scored 47:00 not including many things that takes time off, if we did, we would be 30 seconds or less behind top score or even beat it (NA SIDE)

No one is exploiting the Mundus Stone's in DSA, improve your group wide DPS to get a better score, remember, DSA is all about speed.

Run RaidTimer to help you out, you want to be getting around 47minutes to have a chance at the top score, this means be fully upgraded in gear, be in your BiS gear, legendary and you want to have 3 DPS pretty much, healing is secondary in DSA.

    Goodluck in your travels.

I found a video yesterday of a GM in a certain game (rhymes with hild boars moo) who recorded taking control of a known exploiter's character, stripping it naked, waving goodbye before hurling him off a very high wall and then he proceeded to delete both characters on the account.

It gave me a warm fuzzy feeling inside to know that at least one game company isn't afraid to do something about cheaters.

*I am not in any way implying that the mundus bug is being done on purpose here or that it's a cheat.

Seems like that , all of you that have activated multiple mundus , have done it most with low level alts... Anyway finally it is under investigation. I would like to know also ,to all ppl with the bug, which is your first mundus stone.

It is probably not appropriate for someone to answer this question as it may aid someone in doing this purposely. It's why some posts in this thread have been removed.

I was asking this to only the people that already answered on this thread, i think this kind of information could contribute to try to replicate the bug and help in this way the investigation.

Looks like we get to sit here while all the leaderboards are filled with exploited scores?

You must also play Diablo 3 seasons lol...

but ya, any surprise here really?

Anytime there are massive "bugs" imo, leaderboards should be wiped.
