hi i was in cyrodill fighting a level 10 and a level 11, i am vr9. this is my only character since the game opened, at level vr5 i stopped playing it, and i came back since there was no more sub fee. i want to know if all these updates and changes and fixes made my character so weak coz i cant fight 2 level 10, do i have to make a new char?

Possibly stupid question: did you reset all of your attributes? If not, then those level 10s and 11s are scaled up to level 50, and would be about the same power level as you.

There were a number of power changes that came with update 1.6 as well. You might want to check and see if your powers still work the same way they did before. They may have changed and you haven't noticed.

    Welcome back-

Pre-veteran characters in PvP are scaled to VR ranks. I used to be VR5 but I think that's actually been increased. You'll notice many of your stats decrease in Cryodiil once you get to rank VR1.

It's a balance to make them viable since they have less skills, passives and sub-par gear. So in some cases a lower level character will be pretty powerful in Cyrodiil, especially if your VR rank character isn't built right.

Don't be discouraged. VR rank is important but it's not as much a barometer for how effective a character will be in pvP.
