Wanting a new NB Build

Short Story
I have a Bosmer, Vampire, NB, who's also a major crafter for me... Once I got to VR content I found my build setup was now s***. SO! I need a new build. Currently I have 33 points to burn (can get more..possibly) and I'm looking for something specifically DPS only. Self heals of course are loved, but if I can 1-3 shot something or in groups of 3-5+...Why worry about a self heal? Something that can last in dungeons and crag. Armor, weapons, sets are no issue, traits, glyphs, and refines are. Stats are currently 30S/20M because with 6 champ points total. VR2.

Long Story
So back when I was playing around launch and beta my desire was to rip through the levels and content, find bugs report them and try to find an amazing build one that would make and WoW healer turn to tears. So I used DW usually with an axe or dagger for the passives in it and my RS with my gear rotating with 5HA/2MA and made for regens and higher stats for magicka and stamina. So like most rogues I want something to regen my main stats, stamina and health while having something for healing to boost whatever I can. Maybe not the best idea to have this still incomplete set..Though I didn't have all the traits unlocked for HA or MA gear so I had to wait around and try to find some people looking for work who did have them. Incredibly difficult back then. I basically had the thought "I want to hit you as few times as possible, as hard as absolutely possible and if you somehow hit me back I have a heal for it." Now don't get me wrong this whole setup worked magic in non veteran zones and I was a glass tank healer. Once I got to the veteran zones I was blown away at the difficulty increase. I had no idea how to really approach the game anymore because of the way I was built it simply did NOT scale well in VR zones. What was worse for me was I wasn't the lucky guild mate who got full legendary gear from the guild dupers... I was in uncommons and rares. Now I'm in epics and rares... So yeah.

Sets I was looking for and have

"Happiness is foolishness I don't care for. When a scientist discovers something new that person would be willing to die to uncover the result of it. In that moment there is no happiness but an obsessiveness with interest. And it is with great pleasure I say I am not, nor ever desire to be happy, but take luxury and with sense of halcyon that I am interesting."

I'll take a guess and say this is what you were talking about?

Keep getting surprised by what is worth getting now and not.. Along with these pure builds. It used to be so incredibly simple.

Well isn't it better now, different opinions that can all work and not just one build? :)

First off, put some attribute points into Health... so you don't die in 1-3 hits. That's why you're build isn't exactly "viable" for solo play.

NBs offer a lot of versatility and it was what first attracted me to the class. I have one caster style and another 2hander+bow in medium armor.

I really like the "Ravager" build. Most people making NBs these days go for it. It's popular but effective. Especially, in solo play. I mean hell there are countless hairy situations where I had 5+ mobs on me, >20% health, and about to give up and die. Instead: Reaper's Mark target dies>near full health>kiting with Bombard=nearly unkillable. Don't even get me started on elite style mobs... they make me giggle between Rally, Reaper's Mark, Merciless Resolve, and Snipe they're usually >30% health by the time they reach me. I can solo veteran rank Dark Anchors. The only thing I can't do with my Ravager NB is heal a group.

Have had a lot of people tell me 2h is the best to go with right now. In single targeting I'm almost always fine, least till not having a morph (because I don't have the skill up) gets me killed by a boss. Most of the time I do pretty well mixed with devouring swarm or invigorating drain. Haven't seen this one, definitely going to look at it more.

Dying in 1-3 hits never happens unless it's a fire staff I get to fight, that's the price of vampirism. Otherwise it's DPS output that I couldn't do like I should've been able to. I literally went from 1-4 shotting non vet mobs back then to almost never being able to kill one. Not even really sure why, the dps just did not scale. Almost wish I had my old build at this point just to see if it would scale now..I miss getting invited to groups instantly because of heals XD

I can 100%-20% veteran rank mobs with a max range Stealth>Rally>Merciless Resolve>Reaper's Mark>Focused Aim. If they're a cloth wearer they almost get 1 shot, but still need a single AA to finish them off.

My DPS scaled pretty well when I reached Vet1. I crafted a green set of veteran gear, enchanted stamina on everything, and found Veteran rank mobs to be basically the same. Time per kill seemed about right, and there was not much downtime.

Well you were lucky then.. Probably the only thing I used to be able to kill were the wolves in Crow's and they'd treat me like a a chew toy. Right now though I'm trying the dw/bow setup again, strange seeing that I have to get lorebooks now. I hate searching for them even with the addons.. Oh well. Shooting star's worth it? Least now I can play the game to the ending theme song to FLCL.

now i'm using such 2H/DW build for PvE

carve - executioner - evil hunter - ambush (or critical rush) - rally -- fdb
flying blade - power extraction - evil hunter - piersing mark - relentless focus -- fdb

(used 2H/bow before but it seems that Flying blade does more DPS)
