Short answer: Yes, it's quite normal if the caster knows what they are doing.

I've had mine crit for 19k and I've seen more from an Emperor. If you're built for it, sure, why not?

Hmmm, have never been hit that hard by it but that sure sounds idiotic.

It should hit hard but not *that* hard. I like the general intent of the siege changes and this skill, but they really need to address the core problem of motivation for zerging. It should be a valid tactic when called for, but it shouldn't be as necessary for success as it is currently. Too few objectives on the map requiring more players is the problem. Add more small scale content for small groups to contend for.

Ok....so the skill designed specifically for zerg busting has failed to do so because it does not do enough damage...and you say it hits too hard?!?

It is fighting the symptom rather than the underlying cause- excessive motivation to zerg in the first place and minimal meaningful small group content. Right now it feels ridiculous, though it is doing its job well. I take a wider view that just because this skill and siege are effective in specific situations at breaking apart zergs, doesn't mean they are the correct solution in the grand scheme of Cyrodiil.

If this sh!t is a zerg buster, than it must damage other players except "you". Imagine that, someone detonated you, when it blow up it will deal more damage your nearest friends.. And its damage will increase based on affected players < This is zerg buster.
