[BUG] The Siege of Cradlecrush / CANNOT CONTINUE

Hello all,

I'm currently doing the quest "The Siege of Cradlecrush" and I am stuck. At one point there is a giant who is supposed to kick me through the map to continue the quest. However, this giant does nothing. The giant makes the kicking motion - but nothing else happens.

I have found an older thread that talked about this bug existing, and none of the "workarounds" anyone in there suggested have worked for me. I have tried: Running towards the fire after the dialog, jumping after dialog, re-logging x10, and just about everything else you can do in this game.


What am I supposed to do?

Did you try abandoning the quest, logging off for fifteen minutes and trying again? That causes a soft reset of the area.

So I just tried this again today, as one last try before I did what Endoc suggested, and it worked.

The giant just kicked me as he should. I did nothing different, no jumping/running/abandon..

So idk, I guess if anyone runs into this problem in the future just relog and retry over and over till it works right..

Seems like the bug is back and really random again.

Been trying to get myself kicked for the past hours with a bunch of relog and quest abandon, didn't work.
Then someone run right in and get kicked on his first try.

Does this have something to do with being overleveled?
