in the 1.6 patch I saw some nice changes towards the healing build of Nightblades and I love this effort very much, but a bit more work needs to be done so people start to see Nightblade healer more competetive to Templar healer.
Funnel Health is very nice and combined with Rapid Regeneration can sustain allies from minor/medium damage pretty well. The problem is that Rapid Regeneration is not from Nightblade alone, so it leaves us with just Funnel Health if we want to compare ourselves with Templars (and that is nearly not enough to even think about competeting with that one spamable spell of theirs). I like the idea that Nightblade needs to set up his stuff before he can start healing his group, but it should not be less efficient than any other healer when he is done setting up that tent. Another problem is that you throw your Funnel + Rapid and then you have to resort to spamming healing springs since you have nothing else to do. Here are my suggestions for some changes:
Funnel Health - Damages enemy and heals 3 nearby allies for 18% of the damage done each 2 seconds. This effect can stack up to 5 times.
Sap Essence - No longer does damage. Ignites all of the Funnel Health stacks on allies and heals for 140% of the health the Funnel heals each two seconds (combined for all stacks). This one should be the same range as Breath of Life. (Ally looses all of his Funnel stacks on this cast)
Magicka Flood - On max level gives 3% max magicka for each Siphoning spell slotted.
Leeching Strikes - Additional effect causes heals landed on you to radiate to nearby allies for 10% of the amount. (supports HoT builds)
Refreshing Path - Make the heals 20% stronger and widen or lengthen the path because as it is now, it is hardly usable (I use it on AoE killable mobs just to give some tiny healing edge). With my 32k magicka it ticks for 800 heals with crit, that is rly not great.
I would drop the spell damage boost on Sap Essence because noone in their right mind would run into horde of mobs to get some spell damage boost and start spamming rly bad heals for that magicka cost. You can get that spell damage boost from Enthropy + 20% damage bonus on your next Funnel Health, which is more than great. (+8% health ofc and dont forget the +2% max magicka).
I know that the values could be unbalanced or OP, but its the idea that I want to present here. You can just tweak the percents untill everything is OK.
