I participated in the beta because I wanted to help - there's no way this computer can handle ESO on anything but the lowest graphics settings and while I normally don't have a problem with that, Elder Scrolls titles are something different. So I'll see you all in a couple months on the PS4 server
Why not just buy a $400 pc deal instead ? Or throw a gtx 960 in your current machine and call it a day? You'd end up with better graphics and gameplay functions than the ps4 and be able to get in on those delicious steam, greenmangaming, etc deals, without shelling out another $60 annually for just being able to go online, not to mention way lower game costs in general on the pc?
Most modern systems can take a $200 gtx 960 or even a $110 Gtx 750ti which is around the same graphics as a console for half the price and call it a day with how little power they consume. Worst case maybe you buy some extra ram too but you'd still be way ahead compared to a ps4 buy, and a pc does more than just the games to boot. If you want to game on the TV or projector, just use an hdmi cable or any notebook with hdmi then use the free steam in home streaming function to get playing as though you were right on the desktop . Both the Playstation 4 controller and Xbox 360 pads are well supported on the pc. Not sure if people posting in this way in general (not you in particular) just aren't aware of how far and how easy pc tech has become now or what.

A lot of Things were fixed since beta, and its good - but it often feel like ZOS fixes 1 issue, and then create 2 new issues.
Some thing worked perfect before, like no PVE lag and good horse control - now that is totally FUBAR.

2) Can we please get something other than that Imgakin Monkey? From what I've seen there's two other monkey pets with just different coloration. Give me a pet dragon or Baby Clanferr or something. Something seriously worth my time in the beta that isn't something everyone else can get too.

PS4 has built in party chat. Yea a PC is capable of superior graphics but it has inferior immersion and voice communication. Graphics are one part of a game and PC lacks in other important areas. This is because PC naturally is for the individual while console is made for the masses. Elder scroll games are not about addons and damage numbers which is why the ES series will always be a console game in its purist form. Many beta testers and others planned on playing console but went PC until console release including myself. If a person wants ESO to be like a math test, then ya PC is the way to go. If people want a true ES experience than that is console in my opinion. I think people who do play PC and beta players returning should give the console version a shot because it will feel more ES and be less stressful in my opinion.Attorneyatlawl wrote: »Thanks a lot, guys, but I'm waiting on console release! Provisioning has been revamped, such that there aren't as many ingredients in existence (recipes aren't faction-specific any more, so most of the ingredients that were only for differentiating them went away). On the flip side, more or less all ingredients are now used at all levels, so...depends on your playstyle I suppose.
