What gear for PvP Sorcerer?

I was originally thinking Destro/Resto staff and a mix of light & medium armor. I'm starting to have second thoughts about Resto though. Any suggestions?

what do you want to archive my using medium armor? There is absolutely no valid reason to do so if you go staff/staff.
Either full light or light/heavy (at least 5 light).

My suggestions:
2 heavy for the HP and healing bonuses
5 light for obvious magicka bonuses
Magicka enchantments on all pieces
Divine trait on pauldrons, feet, hands and waist, Infused trait on chest, legs and head.
I like to dual wield with Precise trait for spell crit bonus, since you probably won't be using any stamina based skills anyways.

Maybe it was supposed to be Light & Heavy armor. I could be remembering it wrong. I'm more interested in weapon choices.

Destro resto in my opinion. So much siege damage, fire dots etc that if you can't heal yourself you die a lot more. Plus you are a much more useful asset to your raid if you can heal everyone.

weapons : resto is a must, destro or Sword & board

i´m using
4x V13 martial knowledge (v14 is way to expensive compared to the additional stats gained)
5x warlock incl. jewlery (2 bigslots as they have infused on them for max stat gain)
2-3x torugs inc the 3rd big slot in heavy(infused) and the shield if S&B wich is reinforced.

and
what same weapon will allow access to a super heal so u dont have to switch bars to heal

I use a 2H on my execute bar in PvE for the spell damage.

But in PvP if I used a 2H on my main bar then I lose a bit of my ranged & don't want to go Melee.

I think a lot of people go S&B as a magicka caster purely for the extra block efficiency. As magicka sorcs we have little stamina, anything that helps with blocking in PvP is very useful.

Defensive posture is pretty good too.

As a Sorc I don't need the heal from Rally.... I have a magicka shield that's way more effective.

I just think that Sword & Board plugs the stamina / blocking gap for magicka Sorcs a lot better than a two hander.

I use resto on back bar as well, but the fact that I can get better spellpower with a 2H weapon and heal with it has served me well. If you are currently using S/S, you dont lose any range at all by using a 2H.

You use it just like you do S/S- except you add a very good HoT with a nice burst Heal at the end, and dont have to switch bars all the time to access your heals.

It is just a thought-- I really dont melee with it either-- its used purely for increased spellpower and heals on bar 1, rather than always having to switch to get some sort of decent heal.

Heh-- thats why you go IMPERIAL to solve the stamina issue =P

2H WEAPON LINE
momentum is the last skill u gain. It provides a Heal over Time (HoT) on activattion; and one of the morphs-- RALLY-- does the same, but will burst heal you when the HoT timer ends.
