Maintenance for the week of March 3:
· [COMPLETE] ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – March 6, 6:00AM EST (11:00 UTC) - 4:00PM EST (21:00 UTC)
Our Aussie guild was AD TB as well. We're likely to be moving. We have been testing out another campaign. It would be great if we could get organised with other Oceanic guilds from all three factions.
Lets get in to the same campaign so we're not all standing around wondering where the action is during our time slot.

If you're mates with any of our opposing forces lets get them in on the talks. I think some cross faction mobilization is in order.
I think there are really two major benefits that I see to us mobilising.
We get a good fight in our prime times
We have more people on our level being terrible ping 200-400 and beyond. I know I'm not a fan of being destroyed by 40 ping zergs. People who can utilise 12 buttons effectively while we're forced function primarily on 6 because of weapon swap limitations (I would love to have all 12 buttons mapped ZOS)
I'd like to hear suggestions or even invitations from other faction guilds in our time slot who want a fight. I'm hoping to create some fun in this game again because if it's not fun it's not worth playing and I'll have to move on.
1) the campaign, which is active at night (for US) and always has fights would become the prime server for every pvp guild, since solo play when your guild is asleep is possible since, as said before, its active.
- Results in pop locked during US hours, Mega thornblade campaign.
2) Make it oceanic exclusive
- Results in low population most of the day, not sure how it would fair at prime time, 2-3 bars max.
Solution: Instead of trying to make your own campaign, or organizing into a single server, you would very likely be better off choosing a server/date and iniviting any guilds you want to be there, such as the ones interested in this post, to do battle. It could be a recurring theme you do every night for a week, or month, or even on weekends, switching to a different campaign whenever you feel its time.
I am interested in removing (if possible) the perception that we are "night flipping" keeps and doing something nefarious by playing the game when some in the US are asleep.
While I am West coast US, I play late night, early AM as does many in my guild; as do many in the other alliances. By playing regularly we can influence the campaigns positively. Allowing the daytrippers to build on our success.
I'm not a fan of Thorne anymore. For some reason even in large or small groups you can go to other campaigns and not experience the lag issues.
I also agree that choosing to "make a night of it" once or twice a week is a good idea. I will try to get the word out. I am also not a fan of moving campaigns all the time though. I usually pick a home campaign and guest and stay there. But I am willing to go where the fun is.
Let's make it happen!

I only see AD players so far. That probably has something to do with how AD got the night capping Oceania rep back in the 90 day campaign era in the first place.
@ FireCowCommando
I don't Oceanic Exclusive would work either I don't think there is a population to warrant it.
What I had hoped is that we could agree across 3 factions where our time slot players want to congregate. I don't disagree with a come out and fight night. I don't see any reason we wouldn't want to be on the same campaign though. It doesn't mean we need to avoid any particular campaign, it's just to get us together so we have more fun.

I think most people realise we're just playing in our timezone. Some less intelligent or ignorant people won't change a silly idea like that.
@ driosketch
I hope we're not all in AD. I don't think thats a problem we'll be able to do anything about if thats the case.
Thornblade lag has improved now it is an EP buff server. Just get past the spawn/gate campers and enjoy the 250-290 ping (which isn't bad for us oceanic players).
Here is a hot tip for those wondering which enemies are oceanic, look at your top kills, chances are they are oceanic too!
The Kelly Gang (TKG) have returned and building up again we are on chill.
Since reset DC have got even more numbers during oceanic time, we need more EP to even things out. Fights are good but outnumbered on AD during oceanic peak, could do with a few more numbers to work with.
Bottom line for me ...I would like us Oceanic players to figure out our numbers in each faction. Evaluate that and if the numbers are good enough and equal enough then we position ourselves in a campaign together.
It would be my ideal to be playing against or with you guys and to be honest it is for selfish reasons. I watch those american streamers too. I see them come up against guys that turn face them with a split second delay. Not because they're bad but because they don't know he has dodge rolled until after it happens.
Pings are like weight classes online. You might be Conor McGregor at your ping but if you come up against Cain Velasquez you're going down.
Of course there are exceptions and it happens all the time but I just want more even playing fields!
