Necromancer Class - A for-fun class writeup

I wanted to add another class that had familiars and complete the elemental triangle with frost magic. I drew inspiration from a few other class skills and some of the enemies abilities currently found in the game. (This is not a suggestion to ZOS to put this into the game, just something I did for fun, why my ideal Necromancer class would look like.)

Necropotence

1. Raise zombie – Target a body and raise it to fight by your side. (no named targets) 1.A Raise three bodies 1.B Single body has more health and power

2. Corpse explosion – Dead bodies within 15m explode 2.A Explode with ice damage causing slow 2.B Explode for extra damage

3. Reanimtion – Target a large dead creature to fight by your side (no named creatures) 3.A Diseased creature has AoE poison cloud 3.B Creature explodes violently on death, restoring player health

4. Ghost of oblivion – Causes fear for 5 seconds in a 3x8m area in front of the player 4.A Also causes damage 4.B Targets snared for 10 seconds

5. Chattering skull – A skull encircles the player granting Major Prophecy when toggled 5.A Causes fear in a 5m radius every 6 seconds 5.B Also grants Major Savagery

Ultimate – Conjure Bonelord – Ally can activate Bone Wrath, granting the user and Bonelord Major Berserk. Ult.A Conjure Bonelord and Skeletons – Bonelord raises three skeletons that explode after 5 seconds. Ult.B Conjure Flesh Atronach – Has more health and does more damage



Cryomancy

1. Ice wall – Fight behind a wall of ice that grants Minor Resolve and Minor Ward while within 5m 1.A Buffs also apply to allies within 5m of wall 1.B Wall absorbs x projectile damage

2. North Wind – Send an icy wind forward, encasing an enemy in ice on contact. Can take x damage before ice shatters 2.A Deals damage over time while frozen 2.B Explodes for high damage upon shattering

3. Frost breath – Deal damage in front of you and slow enemies for 10 seconds. 3.A All frost attacks do 15% additional damage to affected enemies. 3.B Causes major Fracture

4. Ice Javelin – Hurl a large icicle causing knockback and slow 4.A Increased damage based on distance 4.B Increased knockdown duration

5. Blizzard – Summon an 8m blizzard at a targeted location, causing damage over time and reducing enemies movement speed by 70% 5.A Grant allies in blizzard Minor Resolve 5.B Increased DoT

Ultimate – Ice Shard Ring – Reduce damage to you and your allies, causing damage to enemies that walk through outer ring. Allies may activate Winter Ward granting a damage shield for 100% of their max health Ult.A Ice Shard Circle – Whole circle does damage Ult.B Synergy grants Major Fortitude and Major Endurace for 15s



Rune Mastery

1. Trapping circle – Place a trap rune that roots and enemy for 8s 1.A Can place rune further away 1.B Rune also damages on activation

2. Hands of oblivion – Place a large rune of dead hands that steals life from enemies and restores health 2.A Hands slow enemies 40% while in rune 4.B Life steal also restores some magic

3. Necrotic Standard – Create a circle of protection for 12s with Major Resolve and Major Ward, buffs last 5s after leaving rune 3.A Grants Minor Vitality increasing healing received 3.B Grants minor prophecy increasing spell crit

4. Rune of Retreat – Cast a rune and teleport into it upon second activation 4.A Swap places with enemy if they are in the rune on activation 4.B Major Expedition for 10s after teleporting

5. Circle of Silence – Place a circle that causes Minor Maim to enemies, reducing their damage 5.A Circle is larger and grants allies minor brutality, increasing weapon damage 5.B Circle casues major defile, reducing healing taken

Ultimate – Witch Strike – A large ball of dark energy crashes down causing damage over time and granting Major Protection, reducing damage taken. Allies may activate Witch Mist granting Major Intellect, magicka recovery Ult.A Witch Comet – snares enemies Ult.B Necromantic Mist synergy grants Major Intellect and increases damage over time of the comet

Notes: I’m not sure how the two necromantic raising abilities would work in PvP. Maybe we could raise a body or creature from the ground, and have no cost if we target a body.
