[BUG] Magma shell not capping damage

Either the ability is bugged or the description should be changed, but magma shell only caps direct damage abilities, but not ground based AoEs or channels.
It's been like this since pre-launch and I've reported many, many times now but never gotten an official answer whether it is working as intented - or is the description just wrong?
