Alt Character Contribution to Champion Points

What level does an alt have to be before they start contributing to your total CP for the account? 10? 15? VR?

VR1.

It's stupid a level 10 can spend CPs but not earn them.

I have another question If I have VR14 char with 70+ CP and I bring my next alt to VR1 would it have directly 70+ CPs also?

CPs are account wide so if your VR 14 has 87 CPs then so does your VR1 alt.

You don't even need to bring your Alt to VR1 to get the CP. You'll get them as soon as you create the character. You just can't earn new ones until VR1.

I wouldn't mind not working towards any cp with an alt if the enlightenment system worked differently, but with only a couple of hours to play a day (at most), I feel compelled to run my main for the cp. If enlightenment allowed an alt to gain cp xp as if they were vr1 (and gain regular xp towards levleing at their normal rate) that would be an awesome change imho.
