What I liked in skyrim was that the swords were fast, the axes a little bit slower and the maces the slowest, the maces did the most damage, the axes a little less and the swords the least. What is the difference in ESO? All of them do the same amount of damage. So why?

Anyways, because of Dual Wield and Two Hand Passives.
Swords and Greatswords do more damage.
Axes and Battleaxes apply bleed.
Maces and Warhammers ignore armor.
Daggers give you more crit chance.
