Stamina Cost Reduction and Feats (Dodge,Break out)

I've been hearing plenty of rumors from people that the stamina cost reduction passive in the CS line also reduces the stamina cost of dodge/break free which seems weird given there is already a passive to specifically reduce the cost of dodge and break free.... I'm skeptical and find it to be a hard thing to test. Has anyone put work into this to verify in any way? Any kind of relevant data, video, whatever would be much appreciated. Obviously this is important if true when deciding where to put CS points.

Were you able to find an answer to this? I am intensely curious too, but I lack the rigor/numerical sense to pull off any sort of replicable testing when it comes to the more subtle Champion passives.

I had the exact same problem with that theory when I first heard it--why would there be a passive specifically for break free and dodge roll if cost reduction helped them as well?

So on my sorc I just went Tumbling to be sure.

In the past games, specific reductions have usually had more of a reduction than general reductions. So, you could make an enchantment that reduces magic damage by 10% or you could make an enchantment that reduces just Elemental Damage by 20%. You could reduce Fire Damage more so than all Elemental Damage.

So, this way we can reduce the costs of over all Stamina, and have a bigger reduction on a specific part of Stamina Reduction.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

When I tested it in beta it did not effect block or dodge (did not test break free). I tested it by hitting roll at full stamina and comparing my remaining stamina. I did all my cp tests at that time with 10 points.

Now feat cost reduction glyphs do reduce dodge (did not test break free) but not block.

I wasn't impressed with how much I got out of tumble because tumble is not used continually. So I went with stam recovery and reduction. I use a weapon gap closer so stamina reduction on that leaves me with more stamina to break free, and recovery helps recharge my stamina after a break free.

Perhaps its a fall back to medium armour athletics + windwalker
athletics controlled roll dodge but windwalker reduce costs.

IF the warlord = windwalker based.....and the other cs skill = athletics based perhaps there is a double dip.
