Been gone for half a year

Does someone wanna run me down what's been going on with classes and such? I understand the new crime system, ESO plus and such... but I don't know of recent buffs, nerfs, what's meta, etc. Last time I was here everyone was complaining how NBs suck and DKs were the shield-bashing jack of all trades (all you who were here from the beginning know what I'm talking about). Are the classes balanced now? Should I ditch my NB and role a DK (I'm into being a tank). Are Nightblade tanks still viable? I feel so out of the loop... any info is appreciated

things are definitely better. Light armor is no longer OP as heck. Stamina builds are now powerful, and NBs are no longer a weak class. DKs are not "OP" anymore. they have been brought down quite a bit. Sorcerers are the new "Weak class" according to reports, but I have yet to give the class a try.

PvP is a lagfest, but fun when you get past all of the horrendous lag.

A new zone has been added, grindlorn(Im sorry, lol. its craglorn) a group only zone with trials(12 player raids)

and some of the class abilities now have stamina based morphs, which is very nice.

there are many changes, give it a go and see them for yourself.

Yeah, I was here for Craglorn. Part of the reason I quit was indeed the laggy pvp and the fact that the first group that beat Craglorn didn't even use a single Nightblade... Also sub fee lol. Anyways, I want to get back into tanking. Should I go with NB or DK for that? Which is the best at tanking? (Thinking PvE, I'd either have a different character entirely for PvP or at the very least a different weapon set up)

I am also thinking about coming back for a spin. The reason I dropped out was when no-one wanted to bring a NB to the raid in Craglorn...except if he was a staff-wielding and light armourwearing type.... HAS THAT CHANGED?.....It was just too irritating to run around as a sorcerer to even get into a group....and that "stop the animation" tactic? we done with that also?

NB is the single highest DPS in the game on sinlge target. AOE wise is great Veil, Sap Essence, DW whirlwind. Bow mark target then snipe with morphs fore the single target win. You must weave (animation cancel) to gen ult and sustain damage over time regardless of class or build. Just do it. Just level every weapon to 50 and dont worry about changing your build to suit the team (like I did). My VR 5 NB can out DPS my VR 14 Templar for burst.
