The Beginner's Guide - A work in progress

I will be recreating all my guides- plus more once the DLC hits so I can include anything new. The new guides will not be held on twitch to make them a bit better and easier for editing. I am always up for answering any questions you have on my twitch channel though!

I am looking for ideas on new guides! Please post below with any suggestions. As well, I will start recreating some guides so I can include some information I missed the first time, and just to make them a bit better

Will you be doing anything about the general inter-workings of the skill trees/character building? It looks like a lot about crafting and that kind of thing, and I think the complete beginner may be confused by the unique character building system (i.e. Classes aren't as meaningful as in other games).

I could definitely look into doing something like that. Likely explain the racial choices and show how skills level up, how to morph them etc. Good idea!

I'm actually hoping to do 2 per week is possible to get the crafting ones down, but want to only promise one per week in case I don't have time for 2. Hopefully will be doing the other guides sooner than currently planned.

Hey Bizz, I've got a suggestion for a guide you could do:

Questing and Exploring

It's always seemed to me like something that doesn't need a guide, but I frequently hear from new players that they don't know what they're "supposed to" be doing, and as a result they're finding leveling difficult. So maybe a guide where you show the very first thing you should do after the tutorial (ie. pick up the quest that sends you to the starting islands and follow the quests there), as well as showing things like how if you explore a bit you'll get exploration XP for discovering places on the map, what the different types of map icons mean (delves, dolmens, world bosses, quest hubs etc), and where you can usually expect to find quest givers. Maybe go over some common questing mechanics, like using disguises, what dialogue options in red mean, and what the Intimidate and Persuade skills do. Oh, and maybe something about the random encounters you sometimes come across while exploring, and hunting for skyshards.

That's a great idea! Will definitely need to do some research and make lots of notes about that one. Thanks for the great idea! Now that you mention it I also hear new players mentioning they aren't sure where to quest and whatnot.

Thank you very much! Taking a little break due to crazy life and console release, but I do have a few more plans (ESO/MMO terms, where to find quests etc.) as well, I plan on redoing these ones. Getting better at making them each time I do a new one

@Survivor_Chris If you have any ideas/suggestions for guides, please speak up! As I'm sure you've seen, I like to cover the really basic stuff (I don't get into builds/combat at all), so anything you have come across that you wish you would have seen a guide for, let me know!

Hello! Crafting videos really helped me, thanks... Just a question... Spell penetration traits, like nirns, work for class skills? Class skills are spells right? Surprise attack or ambush from NB in example.

Just an idea for a new video: PvP in Cyrodiil... I dont understand how alliance works, how attacks and defense works, elder scrolls and towers, castles, and all the things you need to do to win, become emperor etc... Its very difficult for someone new to eso, and even new to mmo, understand. People enter Cyrodiil and fight with people without a clue of what is going on about the alliances war.
