DC resurgence? we didnt lock out thorn until just a few minutes ago, and there is still queue for DC lol.
I have played both factions since launch, EP has some great players, but the masses use the "we win campaigns" crutch to make up for the fact that without a vastly superior presence they will be rolled. anonymous and company were good players on AD, they still are on EP, but the pugs of EP ride the coat tails of numbers and their organized guilds, then try and argue numbers using anecdotal evidence as if it means something.
You guys dont even realize how often I sit and read zone chat EP side and laugh, its generally the people who are considered a joke sitting there and giving the "go EP!" and "pact pride" hoorah's while riding on the backs of your talent and numbers lol.
and the fact that you are a texan upsets me, huck. from austin per chance?
as I said, if anyone is feeling froggy, try playing a DC character lol, let me know how that goes for ya.
In not sure you know what a statistic is but you trying really hard to make that mark twain quote work and it didn't.
There are lots off good EP guilds and players and they are almost never the ones going on about hoe awesome their faction is.
Dc has plenty of bads, but they know better than to brag while being carried by others unlike EP's pugs/Zerg guilds

I could have sworn the DC emperor was dethroned and an EP emperor was crowned while all three factions were pop locked last night. Or was there some secret AD and DC agreement to allow EP to claim emperorship despite outnumbering them 2 to 1?
You would be wrong. DC was never pop locked on Thorn last night. Half of DC was on Chill.
So that blue lock I saw when a crash banished me to PVE land last night was just another bug in the game, like the three bars for blue at 6 am Eastern this morning?
@LonePirate , you cant argue with ignorance... these are the same people that blame the server lag from the update on EP. There is no reasoning with them.Yeah we have lag immunity. Only the other two factions get it.Fat chance roe.. Ever since EP discovered they can lag out the server by bringing their entire pop to one location, it seems to be just about all they're capable of doing. Including during off peak.
Scrolls, emp keeps, defending, you name it, they've lag capped it.
But of course, its 'coordination' and 'teamwork' that allows them to win campaigns. Nothing to do with the ever growing population disparity due to AD and DC looking for fights elsewhere. What game are you playing?how did you guys select what faction you join? I clicked hard mode on the start screen and it rolled me daggerfall.

Sorry I got off work and hit Cyrodiil for a few hours so I'm just now seeing this....
The DC resurgence is the lock pop I've been seeing since TU dropped every night when I'm on and playing. Last campaign it was AD that was a threat and this time around it's DC. In fact when I logged off tonight DC was doing a solid job of running my guild ragged going keep to keep. Oh and they had the lead by a couple hundred points. Kudos!
I've only played EP....early start to the lighting patch then unsubbed and then came back in early January and have been in Cyrodiil every since. To date I've been on 3 campaigns - Skullcrusher during the "Thorkerville" and the Noore days, Wabbajack1 and 2, and Thornblade whatever numbers the past 2 have been. Honestly, it doesn't bother me one bit that there are people whom ride the coattails or cheerlead in the campaigns because everyone plays their part in the game...some just are better suited for it than others. Zone chat for the most part is garbage....it's normally not on my screen unless I whisper someone or type something in guild.
WHY would my being from the Great State of upset you? I'm a native born Houstonian and have lived here all of my life save the 8 years I was in the military. Although I did work in Austin in 2004 when I first got out of college. And I, like @LonePirate would never defile myself and play anything else! hahaha I actually have 8 EP toons that I made at launch and already wasted so much gold on horse upgrades way back when that I would shoot myself if I rerolled.

DC has been the underdog for months and months, so they know how to fight against a superior force.
If the numbers are equal, DC will win every time. I've seen the will of EP PUGs absolutely crushed by our advance. They will absolutely fall apart without hardcore guilds ordering them to stack flags, etc.

To say AD/DC factions have superior play is not only a lie but a damn lie and almost a statistic; I have been witness AD/DC forces crumpling like beer-cans with a handful of players that actually know what they're doing. All three factions have players, decent players, then great players.

If anyone wondered what a sampling and observational bias was, please see above. You must be one of those people that claims climate change is fake because it snowed yesterday.
Since we are in B2P now....I think I'd say past performances are not indicative of future gains.
Since they are talking about previous level of difficulty over the course of the game up until now, I would say that is all that matters and B2P change as of now are irrelevant stat 101 student using econ 101 jargon.
Sub may have been speaking historically (ESO launch through TU launch) but Pirate was speaking in the here and now which is where we sit. The past few days have been fun with the surprising DC resurgence and mass quantities of players seen in Cyrodiil. And as someone who got an undergrad in accounting and a grad in finance.....sorry but not sorry for my use of the saying above.
I remember when the only campaign Ebonheart won was Wabbajack. We were the clear underdogs as we lacked the sheer numbers paint any server one color and keep it that way. Blue and yellow have always been want to do that, ie ruin the map for everyone else. But in any case, limiting the number of servers has made being the 'dominant faction' more about quality than quantity. Proud to say I've never encountered a pact member I didn't like. Much respect to all the pvpers, keep it classy.
