DK through the first 20 levels is boring

I just rolled a DK alt and have been struggling through the first 20 levels or so. There's just not a lot of offense in the DK skill trees. There is great Utility and defense, and heals but not much offense.

Anyone have a fun 1-50 DK build?

I didn't start enjoying my DK until I unlocked Flappy Flaps and Flame Lash... Round 28-30... Then I just PvP'd in Blackwater Blade until v1, that's truly the best way to enjoy 1-50... Blackwater Blade, play 1-2 hours and you get a level, or just just barely reach the next level, depends on the activity. But yeah, I hated my DK right away, got great around 28ish like I said.

Once you get talons, green dragons blood and burning breat it gets fun to play.
Combine that with dual weild steel tornado and maybe extended chains.
I loved levelling all part of my dk

that and any skill from the weapon you are using should melt trough mobs.

Its not that it doesnt kill mobs fast....between Igneous wep and doing a heavy bow atk from stealth, things die very quick but compared to my templar, there doesnt seem to be a lot of unique offensive abilities. They are great tanks though and my first few dungeon runs have been cake if not a little too easy.

DK is the most boring class IMO. The skills are so gimmicky and cheesy it's painfully obvious they designed the class purely to attract Skyrim players to the game.

I respectfully disagree. My first character was a Ranger that I really enjoyed until I saw my first Dragon Knight with his wings and I just had to make one. I haven't played my Ranger since. I love my cheesy skills.

It hardly has anything to do with Skyrim... If anything I'd say Sorcerer just because of well... The name.. I rolled a Dragonknight because of one thing. Reflect. It's a damned necessity in PvP these days.

I just soloed Spindleclutch with my level 12 DK. It was the most fun i had in PvE in a while

Dont find it boring at all personally. Had tonnes of fun switching between different things with it recently, and that was just lvls 1-10 lol o_0

I leaned a lot on the 2H skill line to add damage and fun to the experience when I was levelling my DK. The best thing I found was, Stampede in, Fiery Breath everything, Wrecking Blow anything that was coming, light attack/Searing Strike for further damage, then Reverse Slice to finish off. It was effective to the point where I really hadn't unlocked the Draconic tree or Earthen Heart.

I also tinkered with a 1H+S AoE type of build, which was really fun. Inhale, Inferno (pre 1.6), Fiery Breath, Searing Strike, Spiked Armor, and when the ultimate bong happened, BOOM, Take Flight. It was so effective, I took my VR4 a couple months ago to Craglorn and soloed Spellscar. People stopped to see if I needed help. I didn't.
