On a serious note the ability is utterly useless in large PvP... If one DK can single you down weaving in Petrify every five seconds then you need to run with friends so you don't get shrekt. I'd much rather use Reverberating Bash as my perma-stun, debuff heals by 40% tyvm... Solo'd crag dungeons with that ***

All of the "Super Hard-CCs" go through block, so the ones that last 12-15 seconds and have a cast time, so yeah, Petrify is one of them, some jack-wagon at ZOS just decided that it shouldn't have a cooldown.@Armitas it's really no different than Agony or Rune Prison... The TTL right now can't sustain something like this, or the break free costs. Unless the person is running immovable they are not going to be able to sustain those break free costs for 5 seconds of play which will likely be spent overcoming getting nuked under CC with no block up rather than fighting back.
All I would ever have to do is spam this skill till he can't CC break and he is done, he is mine and there is nothing he can do about it. It would be just like biting jabs lock only easier.
Does agony and Rune Prison go through block? I wouldn't be surprised, as it seems now that block provides no CC immunity whatsoever.

Does that same argument work for making biting jabs no longer respect the CC immunity timer again? I mean; if you were able to be singled out by that; maybe you should run with friends?
Seriously though; with reducing the CC immunity on immovable and increasing cost on roll dodge and CC break; they also really need to look at how both hard and soft CC works. They keep going further and further where the the counters to CC just cost way more than the CC which is fine, if CC wasn't spammable and the counters provided some longer reprieve
They'll never look at the way CC Immunity works, what they should've done is just buff Immovable to last ten seconds, if you can keep yourself alive without tripots then use Immovable Pots, they last 15 seconds.
