blackwater non vet gaurd//seige scaling feels weak?

My question is if the devs have already been looking into scaling on non pvp? It feels like no one is scared of guards or siege now. fire trebs//pots ect used to hit for a good amount, but now people don't even move out of red rings and shrug it off. I hope this is just a scaling issue or bug and will be fixed because it feels like there is no skill or tactics assaulting a keep now :(

    well been a week and no answer from devs so I guess we are supposed to deal with it. I would say ill just quit but since its btp zenimax wont care anyway. good luck everyone
    Responses from the other threads back on March 13.
    Light armor typically doesn't have the HP boosts that heavy/medium armor wearing players have which is why armor was mentioned there. Not all players optimize their gear/HP/STA/MAG for surviving in Cyrodiil and while new players entering the zone will have bonus stats to survive weaponry via Battle leveling, the direction to make Siege not over punishing to new players was desired. Siege mitigation changes in 1.6 were aimed at abilities that can mitigate Siege Damage and also Battle leveling stats are being investigated for a future update, and we are still looking at the damage of weapons vs. players with those changes in mind. We are aware that it's on the lighter side of the damage scale at the moment.

    Would be really good to see some sort of statement regarding this. The lower siege damage has made outnumbered fights in non-vet PvP almost impossible to win. We can no longer defend a keep if the enemy has more numbers than us (and they almost always do).

    Please note that this is ruining the fun for us PvPers and the past week has been pretty bad.

    They wayyyy overbuffed battle leveling. Even in Vet PvP a typical battle leveled player has more health and resource pools than many vet 14 players.

    My level 16 sorc has 30k health (with some green health food), 17k magicka, 16k stamina.

    The only downside is regens, but good god they made lowbies strong. Too strong.

    I was all for some buffing and tweaking, but they went from one extreme to the other here.

    This is true also in the other campaigns and noted in several threads. It appears that one needs the Physical Damage passive from the Ritual Constellation to get siege damage back to somewhere useful. I just can't believe what they've done to PVP with 1.6. It needed many fixes as it was. Now it may be terminally ill.

    I am one of those guilty parties that rarely moves out of the rings for incoming siege ... so I support what everyone has said in this thread so far ...

    If I were to walk outside to my street corner and see an incoming lightning ballista bolt ... chances are good I would make an effort to get out of the way.

    its been 3 days and devs are ignoring this. please guys this is my 2nd chance at this game. there will not be a 3rd chance. All we want is a working as intended or its a bug being looked into.

    I agree since 1.6 pvp is not enjoyable anymore. Especially non vet was great because siege weapons and guards were a threat. You couldn't just overrun the whole map with superior numbers. Now it is a zergfest again, like in the early days.

    Here just a comparison of siegeweapon damage:

    Before 1.6
    Battle level health ~2000
    Fire Ballista Damage ~400 per tick (with impact 600?)
    Thats 20% of health per tick.
    Against a vet14 with over 3k health it was atleast over 10% per tick. Was too low imo.

    Now with 1.6
    Battle level health and vet14 health are about the same ~30000
    Fire Ballista Damage ~2200
    7-8% health per tick and no impact damage. That is laughable, with a bit of healing you can stand in the firezone of three ballistas and nothing will happen.
    Oil is not any better.

    Before the patch there were some truly amazing sieges, some even lasting for hours. it feld that everything you do was important. Now there is not much you can do against superior numbers.
