Double Shooting Star?

Just got hit by a double shooting star, fired by the same person.


You can tell me a lot, but a single person doesn't grand you 200 Ultimate when you hit someone with it.
Exploit? Bug?

Extra info: I was the only player in the keep when they came in.
I was actually the only enemy on said ledge when i got attacked.

One is the initial hit and the other one is "GTFO the ground DOT" I guess? Meteor leaves a DOT on the ground which ticks for damage and calculates separately in the Death Recap.

Unless you actually saw him shoot two of them?

I had this happen too. But I think it's from the Area DoT that happens after the initial damage. I was playing PvP so with the lag I got hit and didn't have a chance to jump out of the effect area. Next thing I know I'm dead with a double meteor from the same guy. At least I hope that's what this is.

Probably the DOT is calculated separately. It adds up to the dmg it should do.

That could explain it.
(Been hit by a lot of Meteors today, yet this was the first one that did a double hit)

Ice Meteor doesn't have a DOT so could be the others were Ice meteors

or you dodged the DOT cause its on the location of impact

While were on the subject of death logs I had a flawless dawnbreaker hit on my death log from a flag guard at a resource. I thought that was kinda weird.

Are you a vampire or werewolf?

An NPC has used Silver Bolt on me once before (I believe it was a Guard in Rawl Kha), i think because i'm a vampire.
Could be that their attacks are just random, or that they focus on things that can hurt you.
(They seem to use a lot of fire against me.)
