i lost the main quest

Hi,

i lost the main quest, i am vet 1 but i cant go further. I go in the cave but Varen doesnt want to talk to me. Someone could help me and tell me how can i retrieve this main quest ?

What part of the story are you on? Try wayshrining in or approaching the entrance of the main town of the first zone on foot. Also, at some point you go through Coldharbor.

Each successive quest of the main story doesn't unlock immediately after the previous one: waiting in the cave won't trigger anything.
Just ride back to your alliance's starting city after exiting the Harborage and you'll receive the next part automatically.

i am in Aldmeri dominion. I created this character for 5 or 6 months, and i dont remember exactly where i was the last time i did a mainquest.
the 4 companions are in harborage, but dont say anything special
I ve found a wiki that gives all the steps for main quest, i tried to find all the NPC, but nothing happened

Do you think i can make a request in the game ? I am really lost
