Lower Crag Wasps should be Nerfed

Well I guess this has been an issue for some of us for awhile, but with 1.6 so close to release I figured I may as well try and see if the (wasps) can be balanced in lower crag. First off let me say, this is on the pts. I do not have any add-ons and I am posting this using my phone so I don't have screen shots, but i just tried killing a nest in lower crag and which spawned 6 wasps and died multiple times, which is ok. I k ow I'm not gonna survive whey encounter, but the damage the wasps did in the recap was 2600 dmg for stings(ie light attacks) and 5000+ dmg for heavy or crits. Now it's not so much their dmg output that concerns me, but their dmg resistance does. It seems to be really high when they spawn in groups of 5 or 6 in lower crag. Idk why, but I can take on 3 pretty easily when only 3 spawn and not because of the amount of wasps. In upper crag when 5 or more spawn, I can kill them and not really over exert my resources, but in lower crag I find I have to pull out all the stops just to do decent damage to them and not die. I went to a nearby clan of welwa just to see what kind of dmg they do, so I let them kill me to see the death recap and the welwa do 1896 dmg for light attacks.
1. Were lower crag wasps ment to be stronger and harder to kill than their upper crag equivalents or is this a bug?
2. Were wasps in general ment to be the most formidable critters in this game?....seems rather odd if they were to me.

    Always wondered why they had the power of a demi-god.

    Have to agree that they need a slight nerf to make them actually comparable to VR 11s.

    That made me laugh; 'demi-god'.

    They are very tough.

    I can kill them using 2H and spamming brawler (basically using their high number against them). But they do seem to be one of the tougher encounters in craglorn (only tougher is storm atronachs but that's because they are bugged on live, and ranger mobs with that uber 1-shot-kill charged attack).

    I haven't noticed upper crag wasps being easier but then i usually hang out in lower.

    no they should not be nerfed....

    Craglorn is a group map, so if u can solo thing good for you, but its never been why the map was created.

    For me as a Sorcerer, I can solo Wasp easy.

    Though I sometimes forget there is a nest or two where there is a queen bee, that needs a little more focus

    Yes they are way to strong and drop no loot at all this should be fixed. Other groups of mobs in craglorn are easy by comparison. They just do way to much damage the idea of a flying wasp knocking people down for one shot hits in some cases is just wrong. That and sometime they summon more and sometimes they don't you never know there are not designated as summoning wasp like the rest of the game. I've pulled 3 and ended up dieing to 9 on many occasions and it just say wasp.

    Agree with this.

    In PTS I was still able to solo them with my crafted light armour piece Templar Build but I needed to pay more attention as I was taking more damage than in 1.5.

    Similarly soloable is many other groups like the sand mobs near Haemaeus Mora Shrine, the Seekers Archives, just by using terrain features (hide behind obstacles to limit range mobs for example) and prioritizing targets. However switching to my Heavy Armor set mad things much more easier, I noticed.

    Still it remains a group content area. No nerf realy required. Remains a good testing ground of ones build and abilities.

    Stand back, cast protective circle. Stand in it and pull the 3 wasps to you. No adds.

    I know for sorceror I have had an easier time doing craglorn packs by combining regeneration with quick siphon. It was on the PTS so I only had template gear but I was able to do packs sizes of 6-8 normal mobs, 4 normals and 1 elite or 2 elites and 2 normal mobs. The the 6-8 normal mobs + an elite is an absolute nightmare like the the Troll at the mines with his horde of adds.

    Since quick siphon procs on every instance of damage done I got a lot of procs off from whirlwind and liquid lightning procing every .5 seconds. Combined with critical surge and regen it was really good. If you can make use of multiple hits, healing received, and spell damage I would suggest trying quick siphon + regen.
