Someone kills NPCs, spams a heal or other buff on others - Will it force others commiting crime too

Suddenly thought of this. I have read that if I heal someone who is fighting guards or NPCs, I will be considered doing a crime too.

So what happens when someone who is killing NPCs does an aoe heal or such? Would that make everyone THEY heal considered doing a crime too?

In 1.6.3, this was supposeday fixed:

    Gameplay
Casting a heal over time on another player character who then quickly commits a crime in front of a guard will no longer share the guard’s ire with you.

I don't recall being attacked by guards when running through the AOE heals of someone trying to fight them, at least not before the last patch (haven't been able to log in to the PTS since).
Semi retired from the trading aspects of the game.

If you cast a DOT heal JUST before they do a crime, you will not get aggro, but it you heal them AFTER they have done the crime and the guard is attacking them, you will still get aggro.
