English isn't my first language but I'm fairly certain that it's "A European ...".
According to random sources on the Internet it's because the beginning of the word European sounds like Y.

Because European is said with an initial y sound which counts as a consonantal sound in English speech, It is said and written with a not an.

Ah because I thought, you always write 'AN', when a word starts with A,E,I,O,U .
Excited to see 1.6.4 Notes though ^^

A European is correct.
It is the sound, not the letter that determines the use of A or An.
English lessons on ESO Forum! Yeah!
Excited to see 1.6.4 Notes though ^^

While we are on topic (lol) what determines if a word in French (or other languages that have masculine and feminine words) is masculine or feminine?
Who or what decides that?

You have to learn this . That was determined, as language grew I guess.

What happens when a new word come to light. Like when "computer" was invented who or what makes the choice of "la ordinateur" or "le ordinateur"?

He can't. A Computer follows the rules of its creator. As far as I am aware, the best AI available is as intelligent as a 4 years old child and at the moment, Computers only follow rules, they can't really think on their own.

Sure, when AvA is unplayable there will be many people happy to test and solve it on live servers.
I think the patch has to go live, because we cannot test everything on Test. That said, there are a number of bugs like the 2 hand excessive damage bug that needs to be fixed. Otherwise I think its stable enough. Hey they got 4 months till console release to work out the bugs. If you are diligent please report all bugs and give feedback.

Oh boy...
You have no idea
Within a couple of weeks, we'll have reports of Templars stacking health & one shotting people with Blazing Shield, Sorcs with 50k magicka casting 20k shields & one shotting people with CF, and the rest of the PvP (and PvE) meta revolving around the spam of Uppercut, or stacking gazillion buffs & one shotting people without 20k shields on them by other means.
You might think this is a joke, or exaggeration, and you might be missing your LOL button right now.
Please revisit this post in a few weeks time.

We didn't have a full week yet so don't complain. The patch is supposed to hit live next week anyway.ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »We'll post the patch notes for 1.6.4 tomorrow afternoon.
@ZOS_GinaBruno, when is NA getting a chance to test out this patch? Or will EU get to test two patches on a roll?
