For those sorcs that want a pure caster in 1.6.....

Just run a magicka NB,

7/7 light with duel precise resto

4 healer/4 twilight/3 willow

Bar 1 - single target
- funnel health - does more dmg now than crushing shock and adds survivability and group utility (heals)
- entropy - buffs spell dmg, cast before crippling grasp to get might of the guild buff
- crippling grasp - Dot, speed buff/debuff
- spell symmetry - magicka regen
- inner light - 5% magicka + 10% crit
- soul harvest - 20% dmg boost

Bar 2 - aoe
- sap essence - aoe heal, dmg and buff all in one
- refreshing path - aoe dot/hot with speed buff
- impale - execute
- reapers mark - resistance debuff
- inner light
- soul tether (or bat swarm) - aoe nuke

Build pulls 9-11K dps pretty easily and has good survivability

For PVP, I trade out symmetry for ward and reapers mark for fear!

are any of these even a Sorcerer skills?

I mean native to sorc. just wondering because right now the only useful trees is Pet Tree in 1.6( Deadric Summoning ).

I hope people figure out a solid build using Sorc skills but I hope they don't all consist of pets.

I would like to find a 1.6.2 or .3 build without pets but I bet its gonna take some serious time. and also it will either be over complicated or very unforgiving.

These are NB skills...I have a VR14 NB, Sorc, and Temp

I run magicka on my NB on the PTS and have found it to be better in almost every situation I've encountered compared to my sorc....

Yea, because everyone is a better caster than Sorcerer.
Still, I'm not going to become the least interesting class for my taste (Nightblade)
