Yet again, another change purely for PVP purposes totally ignoring the PVE game likely played by the majority.ZOS_JessicaFolsom wrote: »@Erock25 - We missed putting the reinstatement of the global cooldown trigger for Overload in the 1.6.1 patch notes. This is a good chance. Because if played right, Overload can now deal reasonable damage. But the slow attack speed makes it fairly easy to avoid it.
It was just a bit uncommon for people, to see a Sorcerer using a good Ultimate ability.....
When are ZOS going to stop focusing exclusively on the minority side of the game, PVP and stop nerfing the hell out of the PVE side which is likely where the majority play?ZOS_JessicaFolsom wrote: »@Erock25 - We missed putting the reinstatement of the global cooldown trigger for Overload in the 1.6.1 patch notes. People who think it isn't as good as other class ultimates are crazy though....it's amazing to have a high damage ability that allows you to focus your resources like stamina/magicka on defense/support and give you a spare spell bar to top it off....plus it is the only ultimate that allows you to fully utilize your ultimate up to the 1000 cap.

It's good on the paper. But it's so easy to counter Overload. It's so slow. you oponent must only come closer and run around you while attacking and you won't ever hit him, while you are extremly vulnerable and just waste your Ultimate energy.
Also it is easy to counter with blocking or reflecting.
Overload is nowhere near other Ultimates in my opinion. It has more counters than any other ability in the game.
