leveling all skills

I have a simple question. Once you morph a skill do the levels matter? Do the effects increase? For example will getting my healing ward III up to a IV make the shield stronger or will it heal for more? Thanks!

Yes, at least 1 effect will be stronger always as you level it up. For instance my dark cloak morph at lvl 1 removes 1 negative effect, but if i level it up to 4 it will remove 4 negative effects.

Wow that's a big difference! I'm surprised because I watch a lot of end game vids and people are using skills that aren't max. That is what made me curious.

Ill add that it vary with how big the difference is depending on the actually skill or what functionality that is being upgraded. Some skills may not have that huge impact, such as healing ward for example. But every number counts!

Sometimes the difference is minor, such as slight extended duration or 1% increase from the previous level.

Morphed and maxed is always the way to go though.

A simple way to do this is to have a separate skill bar you use when you turn in quests. As you max skills, even those you don't use as often (or at all), swap them out with others.
