1. “What happens to my mount’s base stats?”
The base stats of your mounts are accounted for when we do the changeover. For instance, take two horses: One is an Imperial horse you've fed 50 Apples to, and the other is a Light Horse (which is the fastest horse in the game), also fed 50 Apples. When the changeover happens, that character will have a full 60 in their riding skill’s Speed category – we’ll have evaluated that character’s mounts, and applied the highest stats they had in each category.
[snip]
In short, those choices you made before, both in choosing a more expensive and skilled mount, and in how you fed them, are taken into account for the conversion.
PTS Martin was V10 whereas Live Martin was V11 in those screenshots, but Alix the Light Horse has been maxed out for many months. When I was talking about horse respec in September (something which is now irrelevant since the stats are on your character not your horse), it was that horse I was thinking of .Circuitous wrote: »Though... I'm noticing a level disparity. When did you take the screenshot from Live? NA character copy was done a long time ago, it's possible you had only fed Alix Apples 3 times by the time they did the copy.
I'm sorry, I don't quite understand what you're saying. Are you telling me there was a bug in 1.6.0 which has now been fixed in 1.6.1?This was a change with 1.6.1 therefor the NA guys couldnt have it. You will see it with 1.6.2 when your chars get copied again

@Mantic0r3 , negative good sir. 1.6 merged horse stats, as I had a full speed bag horse with some added stamina. This was a change with 1.6.1 therefor the NA guys couldnt have it. You will see it with 1.6.2 when your chars get copied again
I maxed out Alix the Light Horse in September, and hadn't fed any horses on that character since. I think the PTS character copy happened in December .Merlin13KAGL wrote: »OP, it appears to be a bug. One other possibility is if you've fed your horse since the character copy.
(I know for NA, it went back a little bit), so if you've upgraded since then, you may not see all of the stats combined properly.
What? Each of my characters has four horses right this second in time. You have to buy extra stable spaces (which are 10 gold, then 100 gold, then 1000 gold, then 10,000 gold) but you can have up to, I think, 8 horses per character. You cannot have multiple horses now, so buying a crap horse than buying a good horse later would not work.
Afraid you need to have one Imperial horse which you feed 50 wheat to. However, since you can also have a second Imperial horse which you feed 50 oats to, and a third one fed with 50 apples, it is a faster way of levelling attributes. What happens if I have 6 imperial horses and feed each of them 10 wheat? Could this be a faster way to level mount attributes before live?

There is the Sorrel for 10,000g, other three still for 42,700g.
Is there any difference other than appearance, that would justify buying one of the 42,700g horses?

That makes my choice simple - and it took me a few months to save 42,700g.
(Now what am I going to do with my left over gold?)
