champion points, perhaps cut the effect by 10, but give us 10 times as many at 10 times the rate?

for instance, right now it takes 400k to get 1 point, this seems like quite the grind. (and it is) but I feel this would be one place to actually benefit from number bloat.

if instead that amount of champion points you could get total was 10 times higher (say it capped at 100 now its 1000)

the effect they had smaller, but the speed at which we got them faster (say every 40k xp instead of 400k.

then we might not care as much, because that bar is moving and we are actually getting things, instead of playing for hours and getting nothing.


in the end it is the EXACT same amount of effort required to get the EXACT same amount of power, its just presented differently.

if we get them fast enough and consistently enough that we kind of loose track it does not seem like a grind but just an everyday part of questing. making it require so much xp and points having the value they do its like vet levels all over again, we notice when we get 1, we notice that it takes forever to fill the bar, we notice the grind.

    Terrible Idea. It just leads to number inflation.

    If they keep their promise to earn 1 CP per hour then it should be alright. They just have to increase XP gains, especially for dungeons and PVP.

    The champion system and its constellations should have been designed like a talent tree. You get a defined number of points total. Each point counts. Further points into a tree get special passives, but subject to diminishing returns. And, you should not be allowed to ever "max out" all constellations. The finite number of points should only be equivalent to 3 total constellations.
