Has ZOS defined exactly what paths a player can take to earn a champion point?

Sorry if I am late to the party with regards to the champion point discussion but I didnt see anything that clearly defines how a player can be guaranteed a champion point.

As far a I can tell ZOS has not stated precisely what in game events and actions guarantee a player a champion point or portion thereof if completed, regardless of time spent completing those actions.

I think ZOS should define multiple routes a player can utilize while attempting to earn their champion points by defining a minimum amount of xp earned per route.

For instance, ZOS should define the following:

You will earn exactly X% of a champion point by completing Y while not enlightened.

Where Y is a trial, pvp dailies, a zones worth of quests, clearing a delve, killing a world boss, destroying a dolmen, clearing a dungeon, DSA, veteran versions of all content, etc.

The above events have a clearly defined "beginning" and "end" and therefore can be given a predetermined percentage of a champion point. Obviously ZOS cannot define the time it takes to complete these events per player, but at least the player knows what their beginning to end rewards should be.

Players need to be able to set goals and currently there is no clearly defined path to those goals. ZOS needs to define these events by their reward so each player can know exactly what to expect to earn given the completion of a given event. This gives players the ability to choose what to complete while giving them the assurance that it is worth the completion.

At the very least if ZOS made a preliminary statement regarding the above definitions they could easily be argued for or against by players. With a definition from ZOS I see the paths to earning a champion point being balanced over time the same way gear and skills currently undergo scrutiny.
