PTS No characters?

I couldn't find a thread on this, if there is one can someone direct me to it? When I updated my PTS to 1.6.1 I had no characters on it neither my copied nor template characters. My entire guild had this happen to them, we have nothing on the PTS. Is this an accident or on purpose and which ever it is, are we going to get our characters copied again to keep testing?

They can't copy both databases at once, so when EU characters got copied, NA were erased. You'll have to work with templates.

Oh so are they swapping NA/EU every 1.6.X until its ready to go? I have not read anything on this, please let me know. On another note, two of my guild members did try to make a template, but they could not. It made them start with a level 3 or something.

Is this true?
I had to go out of town on business and come back and find all my characters
gone I had just setup and was testing on NA.
I can see not being able to copy both, but why delete what was already copied?

They are letting EU test right now so ours were deleted. Im guessing theyre gonna keep trading off until this is pushed live. ZOS of course didn't give us a schedule or anything like that. But I am able to still make templates with no issue and they even fixed us being able to morph template abilities.
