They do not stack with the buffs the player already has but will get the benefit of whatever your player does not have. So, if you have the major brutality buff on your player you will not get that from the potion, but you will get the other buffs. Remember, that if you have the minor brutality buff you can still get the major brutality buff from the potion.1 -

✭Because the buffs not being stackable from potion make those potions a joke now.
unless you don't have those buffs. if you do of course you will use a different potion or just lose out on one buff and take the other buffs. that does not make them a joke just forces ppl to diversify and make the game more interesting for all.2 -

✭I see your point. It makes sense. However, I do think that this will open up more tactics and approaches to the game that many did not do before b/c they were stacking. It keeps people on there toes a little more. On the other hand, and perhaps to your point, with the removal of soft caps the stacking would actually be a much more useful strategy in 1.6 than what it is now. At the same time, however, with the removal of soft caps being able to stack something so much will ultimately cause balance issues imo. But I do think this solves other stacking issues in the game which helps with the overall experience.
On a side note, just noticed we are in same guild.1 -

Yeah, I don't see them as useless even if you can get the same buffs from skills. The potion extends the duration or helps maintain resource efficiency by not having to recast the skill to retain the buff.
